    Money saving tip:-

Go to a scrapyard, a Mk2 Focus, is probably cheaper than the wiper blades!!!

Nobody ever scrapped their car due to faulty wiper blades. Many scrap yards are now online, so just order wiper blades...maybe the cost of them is less that P&P ???

Apart from just wear, and possibly the effect of fluid additives (I don't know), part of the deterioration of wiper blades may be due to the action of sun on the plastic or rubber.

Certainly they can look dried out and cracked when older.

If you're getting them for a car that has been parked for quite a while then buying half used ones may be a false economy.

Well, I note the carparts4less website is a near clone of the http://www.eurocarparts.com/ website, which does worry me. However they accept PayPal so if anything is wrong, then I'll get my money back easily.

It's a massive worry that they're owned by Euro Car Parts, one of the UK's biggest factors...

unless the actual wiper arm has broken or is corroded, there is really no need to replace the whole arm only the wiper rubber, you can buy cheap champion/bosch etc wiper refill packs off fleabay that includes the flat blade arm type fitment in different sizes.

ive bought silicone ones, as aposed to normal rubber their good and come in different colours aswell, but are squeeky if there is light rain, i buy a water addative to put in the wash bottle, or make my own, wich cures that problem and beads the water on the screen and headlamps if HL wash bottle fitted to you car and doesnt smear.
