I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Watch out for frost for the next few nights. If you've planted things in the soil, cover them up loosely over night either with fleece (which you can buy from the garden centre) or with bubble wrap. Since its also going to blow a howling gale (especially in the east), remember to weight the edges down with something - bricks are good.
This applies to strawberries too - although the plants are hardy, the fruit and flower centres will go black and die if they get frosted.0 -
I was going to put mine out to start hardening off but won't now if its going to be cold tonight, I'll check weather first! Thanks mabsabrabcab
My courgettes are big for pots now! So are my pumpkins! Fingers crossed they make it through hardening off! I'm looking forward to having the windowsills back again.
Cyclonebri1 - Apparently, with the leaf powder mildew, a suggestion is to wet the leaves. Use a wetting agent like washing up liquid and then it can't stick to the leaves.0 -

Yes, that's the advice I follow, evidently a weak milk solution is supposed to work the same way, that is supposed to;);)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
