No way could afford for a 40kg wow. I have had to save up for a couple months myself as student but at least I will get best part of a year out of it.
Think most people feed big dogs raw on other pet forums as it works out so much cheaper than wet or dry.
I do like Skinners Field & Trial and also Autarky Salmon. I always say as long as you give them the best for your budget and love an exercise then thats amazing.
My dog Ruby well we thinking now maybe her seizures could be related to allergies but more pollen but food could also be a trigger. Thats why being so fussy about it.0 -
Our pet feeders, fountains, and water systems will help keep our pet healthy and active.;) So we need to keep it neat and clean so the food kept in that could be fresh.0

We use the curver boxes for out current food, barking heads - picked two of them up cheap in the sale, great for when the dogs go into home board.
I'm going to get in touch with Eden though and try our two on a sample and might switch over if they like it.0 -

Yup, 40kg of a dog here plus 4 cats. Soon will be back to 6 cats.
Just the insurance for all is 200 per month.
Can not afford very expensive food and have no time to feed raw - time needed for shopping storage etc etc
So we stay with what we feed LOL
They are happy enough me thinks..0 -
i got mine from TKMAXX for £9.99
they had lots of different ones for around the same price0 -

Yeah we are the same here
I tend to raid the reduced counters in supermarkets for extra bits when I can.
I also buy bags of frozen value veg and cook that up to do them. Though Codey picks out all the carrots as he hates them :rotfl:
Also my local fish and chip shop does their leftovers for cheap. Piece of fish is 70p strip of the batter and it does the cats well enough only as a treat though.
Insurance is about the same for us too.
As you said they seem happy and healthy on what they get I can't afford expensive food either but they don't seem to have suffered in anyway judging by their sizesFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
