If you use it as a phone and Internet device 8GB should suffice, if you intend to use it as a media device as well (music, videos, games etc) you should then consider the 16GB.

thank you for your reply..................son in law

thinks that this might not be a bad deal for me, instead of paying out for a phone, go for this deal.

    Wow..now there's a curve ball lol.
It's a decent price with decent allowances, but it's an iPhone 4, which is now 2 models from current...and will likely become 3 from current in the autumn. Apple tend to refresh the iPhones at least once a year, effectively meaning that by the time your 24 months is up, the phone will be close to being 5 generations away from the current model! That doesn't mean that it's a bad phone though...but like I said before...you're getting back to personal choice again!

    lol@tony

right I don't know what tethering means....................right over the head

    don't know what 3g, 4g or any g is.....
just want a decent nice phone, but can't decide between paying out for one, or getting a contract.

i'm not that bothered about having the latest up to date phone, can I text, ring, play a few games (not candy crush) read f/b and twitter (nosey b), search for cheap flights with easyjet app, and listen to about 100 favourite songs. without that blue circle coming on all the time.

truthfull I don't suppose any decision will be the wrong one, but do I go for the bigger phone, smaller phone, contract or buy outright........................

sorry guys, but thanks for putting up with me. x

Well thanks for all of your help, after a lot of searching, and stuff, I decided to buy the Samsung s3 outright from asda direct. (thanks to those 4 numbers on the lottery on Saturday, the bit of extra cash came in useful)

It will be delivered about Friday, and Tesco are sending me out a micro sim, so i will still be paying £10 a month with Tesco, for 500 mins, 5000 texts and 1mg data.

    Again thank you everyone
