No time to read back yet so please dont have any glitches afternoon, catch up tonight.
2 things though.
1stly Ive just checked my ebay and it now says next to your listed item how many views it has had and how many watchers. It has really amde me furious  Those figures are worthless and less than useless, the only one that matters is the bid figure. Ive had items before with over a hundred views and no bidders which have taken 3 re lsits to get sold, each time masses of views and watchers but no bidders.
2ndly check the hair colour shelves in sainsbobs. I got a mahonony red Loreal recital for £1.67 this afternoon. There was another brown but it had all gone.
Ive been thinking that going to the hairdressers is my one weekness now - apart from bargain hunting. In real money it costs me between £10 and £13 a week.
We have a local college with a hair and beauty department. I think I am going to get my eyebrows waxed and check out the facilities. they have“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. having confirmation from so many of you that she has overpayed tax she is going to phone when home from work, and argue the point as it is her only income and thanks mildred she is still on BR tax code so if that is for second job that is why even though she has a letter saying she is on the right tax code and they know she only has one job..
hopefully she will get it back as she needs the money she has split from her partner after finding out he was up to no good, leaving her homeless and 3 months pregnant.
Yes if she's on a BR (basic rate) tax code all her income which this code is applied to will be taxed at basic rate (20%).
Her P45 showing when she finished her other job, together with her current payslips/P60 should be sufficient for the HMRC to see what's happened. Sounds like the refund will come at the right time, call it a 'maternity savings fund' if you will :T
She is still working so if she's still on the BR tax code she will most likely have overpaid tax this year aswell (assuming her earnings are at the same level as the last tax year). This should be rectified within her current earnings - when it is all sorted out her employer will receive a notification from HMRC informing them of her new tax code (i.e. 945L) and she would then ordinarily receive a tax rebate in her pay for that period (be it weekly or monthly).
Assuming she's earning say £135 per week, she will have paid around £27 per week tax in this years tax year - lets say its sorted out by mid June she should expect another couple of hundred quid back in her payslip.
Good luck and all the best to your DDHugs to your poor DD
Hopefully they realise/admit their mistake and get the over payed tax reimbursed fast.
It's probably a nice chunk of money she could do with right now by the sounds of it.
My tax code from last year was 810L or something close to it. A normal tax code ends in an L I think (I earnt about £7,000 last year as well and my PAYE was zero).
Yes the personal allowance for 2012/2013 was £8,105 (tax code 810L), for 2013/2014 it's £9,440 (tax code 945L)0 -

I'm off for the afternoon.
I know I haven't mentioned on here everything that's getting me down at the moment (it's all so trivial compared to what so many others on here mention).
You lot have been a godsend to me this last week or so when I've needed people to distract me and chat to about nothing in particular.
So you may not know it but currently the Elite are my best friends and this is my happy place in the daytime right now when DH isn't at home
I know I don't post much (that'll change next month when I'm back to work on nights and I finally get to mingle with the night shift on here during my lunch hourthat is if they'll have me and there's room for my bilge) and sorry when I gibber .
Better get on and do the school run or they're gonna think I'm not coming
Back later:rotfl:

This set alarm bells ringing for me, our btinternet account was hacked last week. We had no idea until one of our friends phoned us due to receiving spam from us.
We use Outlook to send and receive and nothing was coming through as Yahoo had noticed suspicous activity and blocked the account. We had to log on there and change our password for it all to work again and IMPORTANTLY send an email while logged on to Yahoo as password did not work from Outlook until then.
From yahoo we can see our account was accessed from Russia and we are not alone C4 story about it. Happening to more and more customers but it is being kept low key.
More and more customers should be reminded to change their password at least once every 3 months. THey should also use passwords like: !AngelsM4dv? :AI am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
