Squills - my mum died 31 years ago, but I can tell you now, if my father had been allowed to tell me she was ill (she wouldn't let him) I would have moved heaven and earth, and even a bit of hell, to get to her side. She was my mum and I needed to be with her. Simple.

Yep, my mum died last year, initially into hospital with a severe pain in her hip, not a thought at 67 that within a week we would be told she was terminal. Nothing would have kept me from her, hubby manned our fort for 3 months I was neither use nor ornament when she was ill in hopspital during this time.

I hope you are all having a super evening.

I am officially on a break for summer until my next OU course starts in October, so getting some relaxing competition time in whilst the little ones are in bed. Watching Prometheus again on SKY.

I used some of the 50p off colgate coupons today, Sainsbees have BOGOF on toothpaste, making them £1.69 for two after 2x coupons, Not bad as the OH is funny over which toothpaste he likes, so he has 6 tubes in the store room now.

I didnt find anything useful, and wombles are few and far between at the moment, we have a very clean car park.
    Wishing you all good luck!

Hi SFSB where have you been?...... or if I was in D. mode..Dumpy!:T
Hi artha. Sorry, RL has taken over recently with me losing FIL and other related stuff.

The new plan is to move in with the MIL, sell our house and use our equity (£90,000ish) to extend MIL's house and adapt the ground floor mainly for her use. Means that we will potentially have a £300,000 house with no mortgage..:eek:
Can't quite comprehend what exactly this means, however, I think it means that we will be rather well off and not have to worry about money going forward.:D

1 x Gillette mach 3 shave gel close and smooth (does not appear on apg so is trigger for 2 for £3)

    plus

    1 x Dove pro age bodywash 500ml - compares £3.90 to £1.99 at W

£2.10 apg back on a £3 spend for buying these two, so net cost after apg 90p for both.

Just depends if there is anything else good comparing wise at W to make up to a comparable shop.

Should add £2.11 to APG, 89p for the two.

    OMG! Well jel.

I'm house hunting and getting bored of it. Been to view that many properties but they are nowhere as posh and glam as they look in the photos on the websites. It's soooooooo #annoying!
