Just got a bit sad, had not been making those necessary phone calls to all the utility companies, makes it all seem so final. :(

Have now rung BT, to close mum's account, first tiny or maybe big step, letting go of hers (and my dad's) phone number.

    Sending you hugs TS.
Not being in your shoes I can't begin to imagine how hard it is :(

Sending hugs your way hun. My dad lived in France so my uncle is out there now trying to get all the loose ends tied up. I would be hopeless at that kind of thing. It hasn't really hit me yet as I never got the chance to attend his cremation. He didn't want a service and was cremated in the hospital so I didn't go. At least my uncle was with him right until the end and was there for the cremation, he had cancer and I only found out a little while ago he was really sick :( So it's a lot to get my head round at the mo.

I feel very distressed today. I do a lot of online ordering from Debenhams and have never had a problem in the past. However, a parcel that should have been delivered two weeks ago, still hasn't arrived. Its a beauty product.

I've had excuse after exuse and now, have even been lied to. I was told that the parcel in question had been signed for. Well, that's unusual, as none of my other parcels have ever been signed for. I received an item only this morning which was put into my unsecure porch while I was out. . I've had neighbours receive my parcels which I think is a bit unprofessional. I'd prefer them to be taken to local depot while I was out. Not left at neighbours, where you have to spend 20 minutes chatting about nothing, while colleting your parcel. I don't mind a lot, but when you are in a rush. It seems rude not to ask how the children are. etc.

So why would they say that my parcel that I DIDN"T receive was signed for by someone and they can't read the name. but all other parcels have never required a signature from me?

I am awaiting another call now, from someone else there. They are apparently going to get in touch with the courier firm.

Has anybody else had such customer service from Debenhams?
