Spent about an hour on the phone tonight, mostly on hold. First person i spoke to went through everything and then said send it back and we'll arrange a replacement. I asked if it was possible to send a new one and get the courier to rcollect and return the first handset. got put on hold and eventually someone from the courier came on the line! He couldn't do much without having a phone to send out.
Second call i justgave up and said i would return it. Will take it to the post office tomorrow. Orange website is showing its out of stock but I've been promised there are some available.... will need to wait and see.0 -
So it was signed for at the returns address on Monday morning at 7:40am and I'm still waiting for a replacement - going to phone them up shortly but now starting to wish I'd just kept the one that was sent.

Phone them up and ask if you can pick one up at a store. Persist enough and they'll probably let you given the initial issue0

we dont physically have this option. The return can take around 5 working days to scan back in, if you send it next day delivery.
The phones are opened before they are sent out to test the device, and as mentioned before, put the sim card in the box. The battering of the box is probably down to the courier.
Hope this helps!0
