Well maineblue i think its time to switch to manchesters ONLY good team..(excluding Greater manchester of course)
Wigan thoroughly deserved the win, man city showed all thats bad in premiership football - Money!
Just goes to show it doesnt matter how rich you are if your players dont believe theres no hope.
Wigan believed and congrats to Dave Wheelan!

    Bye bye mancini!!

But hope you had a great day despite the result.

I'LL Bet thats why i dont think id ever put myself through heartache like that, but luckily Im a neutral so always support the underdogs.

At least your not gonna have that after watching good ole Eric C on tuesday.

I was wondering to myself if the pain might be slightly less when its a free ticket but I've decided it isn't, although free is better than the £80 I paid for my ticket last year.

We can't lose on Tuesday night :D

    Well partly,
I hope your talking wigan there.
After what i saw today and the dave wheelan story and what i just watched with villa (well done lampard for reaching 203 goals)
Our house is going wigan crazy, if you win against arsenal on tuesday, then your fate is 100% in your own hands regardless of any other results, even if other results dont go wigans way, then 3 points tuesday would mean 38, then beat villa in the final game would give wigan 41 and villa 40..

Good luck i hope if youre going to either match its a good result, i shall be watching both live via the beauty that is internet streaming;)

No, I'm a Liverpool fan, although I do have a little soft spot for Wigan as I used to watch them quite often back in the day of the Northern Premier League.
Yesterday was the 3rd time the teams had met in the FA Cup with City winning 1-0 on both occasions previously.
I remember watching Wigan beating Peterborough in the 2nd round in the 70/71 season, then played City at Maine Road and City were a big team then and Wigan were non league so did well to only lose 1-0:T

I do fear they wont beat Arsenal but who knows:)

Great story, shame it didn't have the great end for you MB. Just to let people know I've been googling win a grand like mad, so if anyone wants to enter for me, that would be great. Or any of the cash comps would be great, I might even share the winnings! ;)

  • I think that survey is probably true Maineblue!

Especially from the numbers of young mums you see in the City supporter areas of Manchester with double buggies, smoking, hanging around Asda and a bump to show more kids on the way!

Well done City...you managed to win something then this year!

Lovely story. Pity about the outcome but who cares, you were there and I hope you enjoy the gig too Dave.
Thanks to all those who post competitions! Comping on and off since 2009
