    How about
"I am so pleased you responded so quickly and you would like contact with me. I have to say, I have so many questions, but I just don't know where to begin! This is a hard letter to write without making it look like a questionnaire! I do look forward to hearing from you soon, and I have enclosed some photos of myself. I would like to learn about you and your family, and I hope that we could possibly meet in the not too distant future".
