Could it be due to project Verde - the splitting up of Lloyds and TSB?
Those accounts going to TSB will have shorter expiry dates until the deal has gone through and then you will get proper new TSB cards.
Just a thought?0 -

That's been my experience too.
It is a pain, because I'm away from long periods. But:
1) I have a number of cards - so never get stuck
2) I can arrange for them to be hand carried from the UK, though haven't done this for a few years now.
I have on occasion asked a CC not to send a replacement when I know I'm going to be away.0 -
Don't want to send the card overseas through the post.
Don't want to apply for a card from a new lender either.:(
Just want Lloyds to change the start and end date of my existing card.
Is it really that difficult???
I have received a few credit cards from US (am an EXPAT here) which came via Fedex/UPS. In my mind sending your card overseas through one of them is pretty secure.0 -
Try to make a formal complaint to CEO Antonio Horta-Osorio hence you have been honest with them and told them what you need and they have promised to send you a card with different exp date on it but failed.
This is more likely to get the things sorted as they will realize that your next step might be Ombudsman and therefore will be more likely to dedicate a more experience staff member to deal with your problem.0 -

WRITING TO THE CEO OF ANY COMPANY IS UTTERLY POINTLESS.
He will merely get aggrieved by his time being wasted by something he personally doesn't deal with, and it will eventually get filtered down to the correct department (which could take weeks) for them to then sort out.
Just send your complaint through the correct channels to being with.
The above post is akin to those people who say "I'm writing to Tony Blair about my expired library ticket, its disgraceful!!!!q1!!!!x"0 -

There is an Executive complaints department that deals with executive complaints in Lloyds Banking Group.
I have complained to them twice and both times the issue was resolved within a week at the favorable outcome for me.
Don't comment on something you personally don't have any knowledge in.
You can also go and tell your Mommy how disgraceful I am.0 -

There is an executive mailbox at Lloyds Banking Group, the executives (funnily enough) don't root around in individual customers' accounts. The emails are passed to the same people that deal with complaints made through any other channel.Getting married 02.08.14
Wins for the wedding: membership for a 'wedsite' and app, £35 gift voucher for party supplies shop, £50 worth of hand painted signs, 1kg of heart shaped marshmallows :money:0 -
Instead of messing around with Lloyds why not get a card which is good value to use abroad, such as Halifax Clarity.0
