asea, we had one of those brushes to but the furminator works a lot better IMO. I was bit sceptical about buying one as they cost so much but honestly its well worthwhile!
Not saying the zoom Groom is no good, each to their own, personally I just find that the furminator stops them shedding almost any hair.
thank you claire! i think i might give it a try, mu cleo threw up a huge hairball this morning, poor little poppet!nothing to see here, move along...0 -
I had a persian cross and treated him as any other cat (dad was persian, mum was persian X). He went out and socialised with all the others, however you'll need to groom him as there coats get very matted - I had to keep shaving my cat! Also persian and persian crosses are prone to urinary tract infections. After having stones removed from his bladder (very similar symptoms to cystitis), he had to stay on a special diet). Just something to consider.0

Aww poor thing Jenny, do you never worry that someone will steal him and sell him on?

storm35, maybe you could also look at rescue centres & animal homes when looking for a new cat?
there are so many beautiful cats out there who are likely to be put down as the rescue centres do not have the resources to keep them & you would be supporting a rescue centre as opposed to a private breeder who may be using the animals as a profit making enterprise only (some are lovely though!)nothing to see here, move along...0 -
