    Morning everyone

Hugs to all those that are feeling sad/poorly x

DH up and off to work stupid early.

Bright and sunny with a clear blue sky. Managed to get 2 loads washed and dried when we got back yesterday, so last load now on the line Plants watered.

Had a fabulous weekend away, Saturday the weather wasn't brilliant as we had sunshine and showers, DS2 and myself walked into the little town and half way had to shelter from a rain shower that then turned into a hailstorm! Once we'd had that bit of rain though the weather just improved and Saturday night we sat outside and bbq'd, then Sunday and yesterday were glorious - really warm and sunny - yesterday morning we cooked brekkie on the bbq (we have a gas bbq) and sat outside to eat - one of my favourite things about caravanning is being able to sit outside to eat. Weekend was very chilled and relaxed which was great and we were able to catch up with our good friends for rather too many drinks but was good fun.

I cooked us dinner last night at home as DH needed to go and collect his work van ready for this morning. We had some chicken breasts that we hadn't eaten whilst we were away so slit them and stuffed them with grated cheese, wholegrain mustard, and cream cheese, then wrapped a rasher of bacon around them and baked them in the oven - the menfolk had chips, beans and salad with theirs, I had jacket potato and salad with mine. Tonight we will be having sausages, mash, veg and gravy.

Back to work for me today - and no doubt it will be a nightmare as we were closed yesterday because of the bank holiday - it's virtually always manic after BH!

    Keep safe and well x

halight no holiday for us this year so we are day tripping. BCM is on our list, with the Thinktank and Space Museum at Leicester too.

DS2 has just had explosive diarrhoea all over the downstairs loo. He tried to clear it up himself because I was in the shower. He made such a mess bless him. So WM is on, downstairs loo is fully bleached, tiles and sink are cleaned, DS2 is cleaned, DS1 is moaning as we've unexpectedly used the bathroom during his preening time and I'm going to have to stay off work. Not good because I'm trying for promotion!

Twelve. And they are all fabulous :D They're aged from 6 months to 4 years. Just checked my spreadsheet (yes I'm a spreadsheet geek, lol) and in December - when we had 10 girls - they laid 2-3 per day. Our best month was about a year ago, we had 13 girls and they laid over 300 eggs.

I don't have a spreadsheet with daily egg numbers on.
But i do have a note book that I have started to record daily egg Numbers.

It seems like it might turn out sunny here, I hope so, as I've got some washing to hang out.

Shortly I'll be walking down to the post office with my eBay parcels. Then back home to hop in the car, to take my first ever Collect Plus parcel to it's drop off point.

Then I want to vacuum and dust. After that I'll be doing more rummaging in my warerobe to weed out more things that no longer fit. At a certain time of life, (53) it seems you subtly change shape, and things that I've worn for years no longer fit. I need to have a major revamp of my wardrobe. As we've got quite a long holiday in September, I need to get this sorted out.

My husband's waistline is also expanding. I got him to try on his holiday trousers and most pairs are tight round the waist, so we'll have to get him sorted too.

It'll mean more things to sell on eBay. But more expenditure too. What with the money we raise on eBay, special offer vouchers, summer sales, and buying on eBay, I hope we'll manage it without completely breaking the bank!

Dinner tonight will be chilli con carne, my favourite.

    Have a good day.

    Morning all,

Beautiful day here, wm on the go and will hang that out in a while.

Just picked dd up, she went to a party last night and stayed over with a friend, she had a great time.

More excitement on our evening walk last night, we went to a local beauty spot for a walk round, and came across a couple (in full view of the path) enjoying some adult time :rotfl:they knew we were there because the man stood up naked from the waist down and turned around to show his all, he was very proud :D, think they may have been inviting us to join in. Each to their own and all that, but it was still early evening, and there was lots of families about with young children.

Roast lamb tonight, although might not do a full roast, will see how hot it gets.

Need to tidy through and do an online shop and go and see my dad.

    Have good days all xx

Like I said yesterday - that programme on Doggies (ing) was an absolute revelation to me. I only turned it on because I honestly thought it was a programme about our canine friends:eek::eek::eek:

Slow day today - I have already fainted outside so back to bed for a bit - luckily dd was with me. I was asking my neighbour not to cut down my holly bushes - she had started to hack away at them without asking.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
