What's the £7.50 discount for? and could you tell us which magazine it was in please, otherwise i'll sound a bit stupid saying I want a discount for nothing ;)

The magazine is Web User issue 108. The £7.50 discount applies if you have all 3 NTL services; broadband, phone and television.

Just phone NTL if you have all three services and tell them you want to leave and they will do a deal just to keep you, no need for magazine ads but bear in mind that you want more than a £7.50 a month discount ;)

Edited to add that if you are with Telewest the current offer on the tele for all three services is £30, so make sure you are offered this deal or tell them you will leave.

yeah we have all three ntl services , we have the 17.99 broadband, phone and tv, so we have to phone up and say what?

what exactly did the magazine say?

Start by saying you can no longer afford to pay what you are paying and are thinking about moving to BT and changing your broadband suppliers.

If they don't offer you a good deal ask to be put through to the Retentions Department ;)
