Menu-planning and shopping list done - and a load crossed off because I'd forgotten that OH is off to Amsterdam for a couple of days next week. One bag to delivery to CS on the way to the post office to declutter a package, sitting room put back to rights, curtains dehooked and shaken out for going to the dry cleaners and email sent to a friend to see if I can declutter a double-booking.

I've also, finally, finally, finally found a way to purge my chest of drawers. I realised this morning that I've got a lot of clothes I've never got round to wearing but I don't want to let go for whatever reason. I chose one of them this morning (perfect weather conditions for it) on the basis that if I didn't wear it, it had to go. I'm wearing it. If it doesn't feel comfortable all day, I'm going to wash it and CS it, and the next time I go out during the day (I work at home) I'll chose something else.
    Better is good enough.

Another 2 baskets if ironing done 1x TD 1x WM. nipped to Tesco to get a couple of blue ties for friends baby's funeral. It's family only so it's the least I could do for them. Just stuffing my face with a cornbeef and beetroot salad sandwich on wholemeal and then I will get back to it.

FFP sending hugs to you and your friends, such a sad difficult time.

helen glad you got the mot sorted

cleared 3 cupboards at mils in my HHCx3 round there, why is it easier to cull someone elses stuff than your own.
i found out where all my reusable shopping bags disappeared to, we shop for her and occasionally get them back but they were 9 in her cupboard, wondered why i had to keep buying them.

didnt get nails done but managed to find a pink skirt in the wardrobe so i wore that. just watched 180 balloons sail over that the kids let off while i was waving DH oof back to work.

going to wash pots then start a HHC at 3 anyone want to join?

Bossy - glad the panic is over.

Suggest you also 'cloud' the file somewhere (for simplictity I e mail stuff to myself then I can access it anywhere)

    Pin the devil

I use a cushion. Oh, and a BIG fancy pin!

I "lost" my ipod when I was putting seat covers on my car seats, have not found it since so may try this although I am glad you added that last bit in Valli, no way would I stick a pin in my new sofa . Well done to Valliboy for passing his test :D

OP - I can't see your bump, for some reason it doesnt show me certain pictures on my works computer but I am sure its perfectly normal, we are all different x

I absolutely refused to clean the kitchen last night, DH & DD had made pancakes & brioche & the place was a mess, normally I wouldn't have minded but dw (which goes on after I go to work when kids have had brekkie) wasn't even emptied (DH didn't leave until 1pm) so I was mad as a madhatter so called DH & he said he would do it this morning.

I had dinner, drop off & pick up at anchor boys, baths etc to do as well so was not amused.

DS has his anchor boys service in the church tonight where he will get his armband, then that is them finished until August, bang goes my hour of peace & quiet on a Thursday night :rotfl:.

Updated listy, tonights plan will be to do dinner, take DS to church thing, not sure if I can/need to wait to see presentation, can't leave DD in by herself :rotfl:get the two bathrooms done whilst DS is at anchor boys, collect DS, set up ironing board & get some ironing done, my bedroom will be done tomorrow, too wet & too late by the time I get home to strip protectors etc & wash & dry them

    ironing basket empty
i have since refilled it with what I've washed today but its not that much and I will do it tomorrow while DD is at her dancing class.

DS2 came home today with school trousers bought at Easter covered in white paint, trainers bought last Saturday the same and because he was on his bike when he ran through this paint his blazer is splashed right up the back. It looks to be gloss paint does anyone know how I can remove it? I seriously can't afford to replace all by Monday morning!
Everybody fed and watered off to wash up then I'm on my butt with tv and knitting, I'm so rock and roll.

Well done on the ironing, and no, I'm really sorry, I don't know how to deal with gloss paint. I do know that your only chance is to do it as soon as possible, so I'd suggest googling it.

if it is unwearable you have nothing to lose... turps substitute and a microfibre cloth or a sponge and dab.. do NOT rub it!! handwash then leave outside to air dry ...
