Ours is 16% on our joint salary (we are early 30s), going up to 38% when the bump is born (ouch - only just realised that!). Homeowners, not renters.0

I'm about 17%, joint mortgage. OH is about 20%. But he overpays by and extra £500 p/m from an old savinhs account.

Mortgage is 17% of our net joint income. Hubby and I are both 42 and bought our first property 17 years ago when a nice 2 bed semi was £43k and you didnt need such a huge deposit. Dont know how my kids will ever get on the property ladder.0
