I seem to be able to transfer funds back & forth between Bank A/C & Esaver OK now. But it still seems to be not showing these 'transactions' properly yet.Expect the worst & hope for the best...0

 not sure whats going on with abbey . yesterday had my card refused 1st time ever in the middle of a crowded sainsburys.
checked on line when I got back and found my overdraft facility had been removed!?! would have been £10 into the overdraft
looked this morning and its back0 -
I've looked online this morning and I'm actually overdrawn !!! Have not got an overdraft and have only spent money that was showing as an available balance. This is so frustrating.0

Well something seems to have changed. I transferred funds from my esaver to my bank account on Sunday, and made an online payment into my new Bank of Scotland account. The transfer now shows as having been made on Monday, and the transfer has not been debited against my account until Tuesday (although that might be in my favour, assuming it still gets to bank of Scotland by Wednesday). i asked for it to be made "immediately", which should mean next working day. In the past I am sure that the transfer would have been recorded on Sunday and the online payment on Monday.0

Abbey online banking down again.
Strange that it seems always to happen around weekends.
I don't know now if my wages have been paid in, as I can't check.

No problems for me.
Logged in at 8-ish this morning, to see if monies had arrived (they did), then I transfered to my e-Saver.
Everything as it should be.
Just checked again. Logging-in fine, balance, transactions etc. everything correct.0 -

On 29th May I informed the Abbey that I had recently changed my surname. On 8th June I revisited the Abbey as no card, cheque book or paying in book had arrived. I have still not received anything and I have also lost access to my online banking facility. I have made three separate visits to the bank and numerous phone calls. All of this has resulted in me having no access to my current account for the past 10 days. The only way I can take money out is by actually visiting the bank.
I have launched a formal compliant online and to the bank manager of the branch.
I would like to know if I have any ground for legal action also how much compensation should I be asking for.0
