Hey all
Jumping on this one a bit late, but could really do with some foundation and do use no 7. Usually go for the P & P but could go for a patch test later and change if it saves me money :-)
So I buy stuff that i would use worth £4 to get my voucher
then i could buy 1 B & B intelligent foundation, tinted moisturister and a day cream - using 3 vouchers worth £8....any ideas what I should be looking at paying
Does that combination sound right? thank you in advance xx0 -

no that won't work - the foundation is make-up, not skincare. So if its the foundation that you really want, buy the foundation and one of your other choices (tinted moisturiser or day cream) then you should get bogohp and be able to use both the £5 and £3 vouchers.
If you intend using 2 lots of £8 vouchers, one of them needs to be the glossy pair of vouchers you get from a manned till for spending £4 or over (and separate them from each other before you spend them as both parts need to be scanned), and one needs to be the self-service till spit voucher that you get for spending £4 or over.
I've not attempted to use all 3 of these vouchers at a manned till when paying for my No7 glitchy items, but using the self-service till works fine to give you a total of £16 off your No7, after the bogohp has kicked in.0 -
Ok, need help and my brain hurts from reading all 9 pages
Would I save any extra money if I bought 2x P&P creams and 1x tinted moisturiser?
I only actually need to buy P&P creams and some foundation, but if the tinted moisturiser will save me some money then I'd buy this instead.
Are SS till spits and the 2x glossy vouchers working together, so potentially knocking £16 off the final total? If so, I'll be getting one of those too.
Thanks!0 -
Ok, just re-read the whole thread...where are peeps getting the 'double vouchers' or till spits from please?0

Hi all,
I posted earlier as I got my stuff last Thursday. Wow, you are all getting lots of stuff, thought I did well with my BB Cream and half price lipstick!
Just a thought, someone said that Boots were hosting a giant party, at their expense, but has anyone thought that this is a way of enticing consumers into their stores so that they will buy other stuff which is not on specials.
I find that Boots is mega expensive generally and opt for Superdrug when I can.
So unless you are buying a product exclusive to Boots, think twice.
Happy Shopping!:)0 -

if the P&P creams are skincare, then yes, you should be able to get 2 P&P creams, one tinted moisturiser, and use the 3 vouchers. Not 100% sure on this one though, because the tinted moisturiser would be the cheapest of the 3 wouldn't it? Thats the item thats counting as skincare as well as make-up, and that one would be the free one on the 342 - but its worth a try.
Yes, using both parts of the till-issued no7 voucher (separate them) and a ss till spit no7 voucher, gets you £16 off the total after all other discounts, as long as the items you're buying include one skincare and one make-up (ie your tinted moisturiser).0 -

the double voucher is the glossy no7 voucher you get in Boots at a manned till when you spend at least £4 in one transaction. It comes in 2 parts (the double voucher). You get another version of it when you spend £4 or more in one transaction from the self service tills in Boots. Then, depending on the combination of glitchy No7 items you buy, you can use all 3 of the vouchers together.0 -

I never buy stuff in Boots unless its on special- but their basics range is similar to the supermarkets own brand prices, and theres nothing wrong with it at all.

hey cupcake
No, not in a million years would I think Boots is doing this deliberately. You're right, Boots is a bit expensive and they would Never let something like this through, ...I think.
But, as per your point about being enticed into the store - fair point, I Did end up spending about £40 in boots yesterday including all the glitch totals, but I feel very good about it, especially when just ONE of the £3.42 glitch receipts alone says "You have saved a total of £34.98 at Boots today" or something
To me, it's like a slightly higher end, premium skincare range (£12) being on sale at the price of a much cheaper, more affordable range like Simple skincare, £3.50 a bottle!0
