Would you not get a third item free, this is what is confusing me :D

no - because mascara isn't skincare, its make-up only.
The 342 is for skincare only, but it seems that the BB creams, bronzers and tinted moisturisers are counting as both skincare and make-up - thats the glitch (well, part of it :)).

I have had a few minutes break and starting again.. I think I now have the hang of it.

From my understanding the day cream wouldn't work with bb cream and tinted moist as is it priced at £12.50. The bb cream £12.95 and tinted moist £11.50 are the glitch items so I would need a skincare product priced at £11.50 or under for it to go through free and both offers kick in. I would have to choose the foaming wash for £9.00. So £12.95 + £11.50 (buy 1 get 1 half price) £18.70 - £3 and £5 vouchers = £10.70 and the foaming wash should go through free :)

thats it - you've cracked it too :T!

I also always used the self-scan voucher first - don't know if that makes any difference but it was what was working for me.
Another thing is - SEPARATE your glossy voucher before you scan if you're using both in one transaction! It beeps really fast when you wave it over the scanner if they are connected, and unless you're a whizz at math (which I'm not) it's difficult to work out which voucher it has accepted of the two stuck together, especially when you're on the spot like that. Then it starts bugging you to insert the voucher into the hideyhole and you don't know which one to put in! (another thing about inserting the voucher is that it needs to fall clear of the insertion slot for the machine to register as coupon inserted. (Completely inside it, away from the entrance.) So if the slot looks a bit full beforehand, this might be a point of irritation as it will keep asking you to insert the coupon even if you just did.) Or if the machine is over-eager and registers that you've inserted the coupon when you're still holding onto it - keep it for next time. It's reusable. Hope this helps people not used to using the self-scan tills (like me) :)

So if you only just want that 1 item from No7 range, or don't want to clutter up your house with stocks of stuff, or don't believe in obtaining 'free' stuff you won't use just because it's free, you could still benefit from this glitch :)

P.S. They stop giving vouchers out on the 15th I think, and must be redeemed by the 19th.

I'm doing it the other way around - glossy £5 first, then glossy £3, then self-service till spit, (then any other voucher I have, like the £2 off mascara if I'm buying a mascara) and it still works :).

Hopefully the two offers are still combining tomorrow. I am unsure if I dare try it though as with my luck it will come up to around £30 for 3 items I do not really need.

I know its worth a try but I go red easily haha and I'd end up paying what the till says, my local store does not have a self serve checkout.

Do I make the total up to £15 and use the ACM voucher 150 extra points when you spend £15 or more :)

    Is this still working?

yes - well it was all day today :). I think it will work until Tuesday at least, as Wednesday is typically the day of the week when Boots change their offers.

I thought I posted on here yesterday re this, but I can't find it.
I use no7 intelligent colour foundation so don't mind stocking up on that.
I fancy trying their BB cream for holidays - it's like a tinted moisturiser right? But all in one ?
What combo would I need to get max discount I have both vouchers & my foundation is £15.50 I think.
Can I do 2 foundations & 1 BB cream or must it be 2 BB creams & 1 foundation?
