I've cracked it! :T:rotfl:0

Back again...lol
If I bought 1 tinted moisturiser + 1 mascara, I'd able to use both vouchers, correct? So I would get BOGOHP and both vouchers.
12.95 + 5.75 - 5 - 3 = 10.70.
If the mascara ATM voucher also works, it should end up as 8.70 for the two. I hope I'm right this time! lol

No, because all 3 items have to be skincare (or considered to be, like the BB cream and tinted moisturiser) in the 3 for 2 offer.
If I'm buying the mascara, I can only use the BOGOHP offer for cosmetics, so no free third item.
However, the glitch is that the BB cream and tinted moisturiser are considered as BOTH cosmetics and skincare, so if you get 2 you trigger the BOGOF offer and can use both vouchers on top, or if you buy 3, you trigger the 3 for 2 offer AND the BOGOHP offer AND you can use both vouchers on top.
Clear as mud I know...lol0 -
By the way, to give people some inspiration on the double vouchers glitch, you don't NEED to buy 2 BB creams or bronzers or moisturisers or anything to take advantage of it.
If you buy a standard 3 for 2 on skincare (no BB/bronzer/tinted) you can still use the double voucher trick to take an extra £10 off the total cost. Rather than just £5 with 1 voucher.
If you only buy 1 item, it can still work for you. I bought a single concealer today (make-up category) that was originally £8.50, but I used 2x £3 off make-up vouchers to turn the cost into £2.50.It's the mega sale Boots doesn't even know it is hosting!
**I don't dare take the cost down to below zero though. E.g. Scan a £9.95 cream and then try to use x2 £5 vouchers. I don't know what happens when you try that and might be a bit risky. I also always used the self-scan voucher first - don't know if that makes any difference but it was what was working for me. Another thing is - SEPARATE your glossy voucher before you scan if you're using both in one transaction! It beeps really fast when you wave it over the scanner if they are connected, and unless you're a whizz at math (which I'm not) it's difficult to work out which voucher it has accepted of the two stuck together, especially when you're on the spot like that. Then it starts bugging you to insert the voucher into the hideyhole and you don't know which one to put in! (another thing about inserting the voucher is that it needs to fall clear of the insertion slot for the machine to register as coupon inserted. (Completely inside it, away from the entrance.) So if the slot looks a bit full beforehand, this might be a point of irritation as it will keep asking you to insert the coupon even if you just did.) Or if the machine is over-eager and registers that you've inserted the coupon when you're still holding onto it - keep it for next time. It's reusable. Hope this helps people not used to using the self-scan tills (like me)
So if you only just want that 1 item from No7 range, or don't want to clutter up your house with stocks of stuff, or don't believe in obtaining 'free' stuff you won't use just because it's free, you could still benefit from this glitch
P.S. They stop giving vouchers out on the 15th I think, and must be redeemed by the 19th.0 -

I didn't check the offers in store today as I was in a smaller boots which did not stock a lot of No7 and the 3for2 offers were not visable but I have looked online.. the tinted moisturiser and bb cream are showing buy 1 get 1 half price. Is this the way it scans instore but once a 3rd skincare item goes through the 3 for 2 kicks in?
I want to try this tomorrow but don't want to pick up the wrong items. I can just hear the SA now, 'that will be £30 please, do you have an advantage card'. WHAT! for 3 items I do not need. I would have to pretend I have left my bank card in the machine to avoid embarassment.
I want to try on 3 of these items,
foaming cleanser
tinted moisturiser
bb cream
day cream
any 3 of the above should work as long as I include either a tinted moisturiser or bb cream? Then I can use the £3 off voucher as well as the £5 no7 voucher for either the foaming cleanser or day cream.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
Thanks to OP I went today and got 3 BB creams and decided to try and use both my vouchers but shouldnt have used the self service in hindsight.
Well it ended up working out OK as I managed to get the BOGOHP and 3for2 but it would only accept one of my slef service No7 vouchers. To my surprise the voucher decided to deduct £5 AND £3 as I assume the BB is classed (as mentioned before) as skincare and cosmetics. So ended up paying £11.42 for 3xBB Creams, cant complain at £3.80 each0 -

Yes, that's the way I understand it!

2 of the 3 must be the "glitchy" items, ie BB cream/tinted moisturiser, and your 3rd item can be anything in skincare as long as it's cheaper than your first 2 items.
So you could do:
BB cream + tinted moist + day cream (if less than 12.95 or 11.50)
BB cream + tinted moist + foaming wash ( if less than 12.95 or 11.50)
2 X BB creams (or 2 tinted moist) + either cream or wash.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong! lol0 -

I have had a few minutes break and starting again.. I think I now have the hang of it.
From my understanding the day cream wouldn't work with bb cream and tinted moist as is it priced at £12.50. The bb cream £12.95 and tinted moist £11.50 are the glitch items so I would need a skincare product priced at £11.50 or under for it to go through free and both offers kick in. I would have to choose the foaming wash for £9.00. So £12.95 + £11.50 (buy 1 get 1 half price) £18.70 - £3 and £5 vouchers = £10.70 and the foaming wash should go through freeA home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0
