After an epic fail week I am planning to use cash only this week. So I have £60 in my hand and thats it!!
    I can do green.....:D
  • Thanks for the thread ETO. I need to get back on it this week.

I was definitely under last week, but can't be bothered to go through my purse at the moment!

I shall pledge £40 for the week. I'm going to a quiz one evening and out for brunch next week, but I'm hoping I will be kept busy.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
  • Hi everyone!

Hope you're all having a great bank holiday weekend! NSD here! Jipee! Went to the gym first thing this morning, went straight there and back and no internet spending today either. Whoop! Whoop! Am switching mac off now lol so I'm not tempted!

    Cheers

So I spent a total of £22.49 last week.

This week I'm going to aim for £20.00 again. I don't have £20 until payday on 15th so I should be able to stick to it :rotfl:
  • Bullocks. Just decided nominos would be a good idea after a day of ironing and general house cleaning things whilst looking for a new flat.

    £14.99/£40.00

Still doable, and I have £12.00 in my purse from last week which I've transferred to my cash tin.

Ah really hope your guinea pig is ok. :( if you're anything like me you'll spend anything to fix a pet.

Thank you, but unfortunately she was PTS this afternoon :( Absolutely gutted as she was one of my first piggies and - I know you shouldn't have them - a favourite as she was so sweet natured. I didn't get to say goodbye either as I was stuck at work with no cover :(

Back on topic - today was £2.85 on coffee as could barely keep my eyes open, and yesterday was a £3 coffee, £1.20 on iron Bru and about £3 on beer (I can't find the receipt!) bringing me to a total of £10.05 already (None of this has come out of the bank though as used a scratch card I found in a bag plus petty cash I was owed from work so yay!)

Hi everyone and thanks to ETO for the thread. I'm giving myself a relatively generous budget of £30 this week. I've already spent £3.25 on some orange juice and a paper, and put £5 towards some new panniers for my bike (the rest was birthday money and vouchers earned from surveys) so I have £ 21.75 to last me till Friday

I'm so sorry to hear about your little guinea pig. :( it must have been awful not to say goodbye too. Hope you're doing ok. I lost my bunny rabbit 5 weeks ago, and I still get upset now. :( so know how you are feeling.
