Cheap trash tv and boringly brain numbing..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I caught the show by accident last night. Some useful info in there I suspect but the presentation is dire. Stuck it for 5 mins then turned it over.
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Glad I'm not alone, I gave up watching him after the first couple of shows of the original series.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Yea, would fit in better on daytime TV.
    Bad luck breeds bad luck.

    Damn I'm doomed.

It's not really aimed at the type of people that not only read this site, but also get the e-mail and read the forum.

It is aimed at people that watch ITV. In the same way that a student of Physics at Manchester University is not going to watch a Brian Cox TV show to supplement their studies.

So if it is not for you then don't watch it. Personally I think it is great that there is some form of financial education on TV that is not an advert.

Can't argue with the fairness of Gentoo's post. I guess ML's advice is aimed at the lowest common denominator amongst ITV "viewers". The sort of people who think Coronation Street and Emmerdale are documentaries... ;)

I actually haven't had a TV (except for a set unconnected to any aerial or satellite box so I can watch my DVDs and Videos) for the past few years - sometimes I miss it. But not often. x

Having lived in a place with neighbours that swore by buytolet metered TV (didn't mind that they were paying 400% more for the TV plus squillion percent interest and actually felt it was a good way of saving as they were given money back from the tv meter each month lol).., this programme must be useful for some people somewhere. And they wouldn't listen to me when I tried to point out they could buy the same TV for £340 online (the cost to them was over £1,100).

But lol., totally agree about the condescending attitude. Its not aimed at people who use this site.
