It's almost laughable that people are being told they do not read things properly or only read what they want to read when, in her own words on 3rd May, nannytone said the property would be open for bidding starting on the 6th of May.

and as i have subsequently said.... i wasnt aware that the property was vacant or that it had been reclassified. i posted the fay after i contacted the JA, and styill didnt know the exacyt details/

youd think that people would be happy that i am getting the size of property that i need and that someone else is coming off the housing list.

but too many on here hate to see anything working out for benefit claimants. but never mind, it doesnt bother me. i dont have to live with you!"

That's not true, is it?

today i became aware that one of the tenants of the social housing flats is moving out tomorrow, and that they are no longer exclusively for young people.

The whole point of you contacting the LA was that you did know one was to become vacant, and that they had been reclassified.

Anyone else finding this slightly surreal?

Neverdespairgirl. A lot of councils used to that up here, it's been withdrawn over the last couple of years. I can imagine why they want to still offer these incentives in areas that are over occupied though.

I can't bid for properties and just have to wait until i am contacted by my housing. Can only bid if with council. I am on the transfer register with housing association.
