On 3rd May you posted:

today i became aware that one of the tenants of the social housing flats is moving out tomorrow, and that they are no longer exclusively for young people. the council will be putting them up for bids next week ( it's already on the board in the council office, but no bids will be accepted until the internet site is updated over the weekend)

So when you went on to say that bidding started on 29th April, it makes it all look very strange.

and i said that bidding hadnt started? if that was the case then there would have been no problem. the HA would have let me move without the councils involvement and just advertised my current property.

i think a lot of people on here read what they wewant, rather than what is actually said

What part of 'the council are putting them up for bids next week' are people misunderstanding? You then went on to say 'no bids will be accepted until the internet site is updated over the weekend'.

Still denying it? I see nothing in the post that is in any way ambiguous.
