  • I've been told that the taps aren't going to clean up as they coating has gone on them, but I did find someone selling a set of sink taps and a shower mixer tap almost identical to the ones we have now for £42 but not sure if it's the right size.

    Evening all,

embb - hugs to you and your ds
pigpen - sounds like youve cheered up
shirley - glad to hear your having a rest

well i got naff all done today off the list. Im absolutely shattered. been burnt to a crisp and hurt. We got bought factor 25 suncream which i duely slapped on but it hasnt worked - it was tesco value - 6.5hrs in the sun watching a constantly busy pool and me who has never burnt for about 10 years is beetroot red and in distinct pain  . NOT IMPRESSED.

Anyway ive been for the x-ray - now a 2 week wait for the results to the gp. had my meeting, been to work, been babysitting via the pub for supper with a friend. Now going to go slap some more aftersun on time about 50 million times so hopefully i dont hurt so much tomorrow morning.

    Have a good night everyone.

Evening all just got back from ladies indulgence feeling all happy and relaxed. Was going to watch 'the apprentice't by OH forgot to turn the video over unil 20 minutes after it started. As you can imagine I feel stressed again now.

Aimeelister - did anybody else burn from that suncream - you should complain sunburn is so painful i hope it does not stop you from sleeping.

Not doing much flying for the next couple of days as need to get ready for holiday etc. I will be popping in to catch up though.

Have also cleaned EVERY SINGLE WINDOW inside this house! Used white vinegar, of course! Gosh, don't they sparkle! Will try and get through at least some of the outside ones over the weekend.

Off to find something to eat - will do a bit more after lunch :)
