I did some googling and found this, http://abbeyfraud.com/
It appears I'm not the only person who Santander has tried to financially ruin for having the gaul to be a victim of fraud

Is this a proper business account or are you just using a personal account for business? They probably wont like it if you are doing the latter.
Sort of the latter unfortunately, it started off as a personal thing just to see if I could make some money doing it, I started doing rather well so set up a business account, this happened a few days after I applied for a business account

On which of your accounts is the block?0

Regardless of the situation you find yourself in, your thread headline is childish nonsense.Santander trying to steal £14,200 from me
Santander are not going to gain from this.0 -
It's not unknown for some thieves to steal and pass the proceeds to charities. They are not gaining either, but this doesn't mean anything.opinions4u wrote: »Santander are not going to gain from this.0 -

My main Santander current account.opinions4u wrote: »Regardless of the situation you find yourself in, your thread headline is childish nonsense.
Santander are not going to gain from this.
Santander are up £14,200? it's similar to how paypal freezes peoples assets for long periods of time and profits off the interest.0 -
If a transaction is disputed, it's only the transaction amount which is involved. If the transaction was a bank transfer, there won't be any dispute as only card transactions can be charged back. As Grumbler says in post #2 it sounds more likely that your account is frozen for some other reason. Santander aren't stealing anything, all you can do is wait for them to deal with your complaint.0

I thought you were smarter than that. It's not unknown for some thieves to steal and pass the proceeds to charities. They are not gaining either, but this doesn't mean anything.
Any gain is tiny and will be more than swallowed up by the cost of the administration involved.Santander are up £14,200? it's similar to how paypal freezes peoples assets for long periods of time and profits off the interest.0 -
My main Santander current account.
So you did make business transactions on your current account. As a previous poster has mentioned, that might be the reason for the block.
If you have nothing to hide, why don't you present the details of your transactions to Santander so they can remove the block?0 -
I am really sorry to disappoint youopinions4u wrote: »I thought you were smarter than that.
