    Well done Bev, glad its all worked out for you. I'd keep hold of her email as proof that she has withdrawn the case. If she was silly enough to continue with the case and hope to win with you not turning up, that'd be a very, very silly thing to do. If she did that and the court found in her favour, you would have grounds to appeal to the next court up. She would be found guilty of perjury and probably other things and most likely end up with a prison sentence to boot.

    As others have said, I wouldn't send her any money, you've been through the mill too much because of her already.

    Well done, bev77!! I've read this thread with interest and I'm so glad that commonsense has prevailed. But please don't sent any money, and make sure that the court is properly informed about the situation.
