TTFTM Happy Birthday from me too. We love Chinese, especially washed down with wine!

Grief Halight you have been in the wars over the years. Good for you for having such a positive outlook.

Islandman you take all the pervy remarks, I need a rest from Judi!

Well bedroom has had new ceiling, been painted and wallpapered. So now a carpet has been picked out for me to purchase. Just need to tie in with the carpet fitter early next week and that will be that room completed. Luckily there are only a few items of furniture and the bed to take out so the carpet fitter can do his stuff.

Plans are already afoot for bedroom two. Mrs was out this morning and purchased wallpaper. However work won't start in here until June, as loads from our bedroom has been temporarily "stored" in this bedroom. New carpet will also be required. Gosh I must be loaded! :rotfl: :rotfl: No Judi I won't be your Sugar Daddy! ;)

Beautiful day here again, just a pity I have to work. :(

Thanks Bitsy, funnily enough the 2 I was looking at yesterday were both black :D.I've heard that before about choccy ones. There is a lab rescue not too far away so the dogs don't tend to be small pups, which would suit us better really, gorgeous though they are.Still have to convince DH though, and I have to be sensible and wait till after our hols and a wedding with an overnight stay.Boo :(
Thanks for your opinion though :)

I agree - Black Labs are super; Molly was an absolute angel, and didn't need to be on a lead, ever (I used to put her on it when walking along the road, but just to reassure passing drivers that she was under control, not because she needed it) and Jessie, who went home the other day, whilst not quite as obedient as Molly, is a lovely laid-back dog who adores everyone. Fwiw, Molly was trained using gun-dog training methods, so I'm informed - she belonged to Mr LW's pal, and he told me he got a book on gun-dog training and worked from that - also he had her from a small puppy, so training commenced from Day 1.

BTW, in case anyone's concerned for her, she's still around, happy and healthy, but now living with the pal's ex-BiL; when the pal's marriage broke down and he moved out, he wasn't allowed a dog in his new rented accommodation.
