hmmm.....soooo
firstly I had a txt on my phone now, and an email....saying cashback claim accepted and apologies for the delay.
Now for the 2nd phone (partners) I've just received the followingDear xxxx
RE: Your cashback claim for xxxx
We're writing to let you know that your month 6 cashback claim for this
mobile number has been rejected because you've sent us your April 2013
bill and we need your April 2013 bill to pay your cashback claim.
So that we can process this quickly, please resubmit your claim by sending
your April 2013 bill to us within 60 days from the date on the bill.
How on earth does that make sense lol0 -
sigh....
email sent back again, selecting "Why was my claim rejected" this time....with letter back pasting their info where they've even acknowledged it being the April bill.
Again, website says will receive a response within 2 working hours......but the follow up email says 3 working days.0 -

Pasting anything in the box is likely to fail - there is a small limit on the number of characters you can write. In any case, I wouldn't do that. Provided you DO know what you're doing AND have done it with their (now) proof of receipt (i.e. the rejection) all you need to do is inform them that you have made a correct claim and that it has been unjustifiably rejected - so unless they reverse the decision immmediatley, accepting the claim and paying without further delay you will take appropriate steps to ensure you do recover the money.
You need to appreciate that over the years all CPW companies often send out contradictory information regarding claim months, amounts and so on. I have recently grabbed another cashback contract with another CPW dealer and (as usual) the specific information in the email welcome pack totally conflicts with other specfic information regarding claim months.
When taking out any cashback deal you can't rely on having good experiences in the past or taking things at face value - especially with CPW. That is precisely why I keep a close eye on all the claims my people make as well as my own - and there were 9 in May alone. Recently some of my people have found that things don't always run smoothly. One or two also are a bit tardy in claiming and following things up - I've had to rescue some of them as a result.0 -
the copy and paste was just part of the email rejection so they knew what I was referring to when contacted them...no biggie, part of the message with my new message to them, and basically saying "yes it IS correct, look again"
I suspect they've looked at the date the online bill was saved to PDF, in early May, rather than the bill date itself. At least the bill that was due the soonest has been accepted....this one with the current issue I have til around the 26th to resolve.
Depending on the result I get back from the last contact I'll of course get a lot more aggressive with them. I have in the past had to threaten LBAs in the past with previous companies. Mobiles.co.uk on a previous contract had been no problem at all mind....just this time round they're being a bit iffy......I'm not one to let it lie though so will persist

Anyone know how long it takes for new bills to show? My bill date was 4th July and it's still not appearing on the website.0
