Please can you help me?
I have just received a letter from the Parking Collections Services Ashton Under Lyne for a parking offence that dates back to11/05/2013! surely this can't be legal. There was no ticket left on my windscreen at the time.
I haven't contacted them as yet but feel that I should appeal, please can you advise or help me write my appeal letter to them.
Many thanks in advance for your help0 -

Good evening,
I have received two parking charge from PE. I am the registered keeper of the car, but was not driving the car at the time. PE are requesting £60 if paid with in 14 days and £100 after this time for each. The car park had an attendant up until recently. The driver paid the chap on each visit. The driver has ensured me that a ticket was purchased via a machine in the car park but must have overstayed. There is no mention of this part payment in the parking charge letter. My Christian name is also spelt incorrectly on the two letters they have sent me. Can PE legally obtain my details for DVLA?
Is there an easy way to get these thieving swine off my back?0 -

Hmmm...here's an idea - read the forum sticky threads on page one?!
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163
I would also say start a new thread but ONLY when you have read the 'newbies' sticky thread, have appealed like everyone does, and have got your POPLA code.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
They are on the AOS list - Check the entry for "Liberty Printers"
So you need to do an "appeal" to them, the go the POPLA route once they give you the code. See the stickies on how to do that. If POPLA goes against you, don't worry, its not binding on you, so you can ignore that.
In order to send debt collectors after you, they need to take you to a proper court, win and you fail to pay the judgement in time. I don't think anyone has ever turned-up evidence of CPP taking anyone to court, never mind the rest, so you can stop worrying!
Hi im new to this?! Where the stickies located. Im connecting via my phone.
many thanks0 -

Hi
I have an ongoing issue with a PCN I received in a railway car park stating that the car was parked outside of rail service times. The company is not the landowner.Although the car park has signs up stating that you can be fined initially £60 and then up to £100(the car park is free) there are clearly no timetables available at the car park itself as you have to walk a distance to get to the rail station. I have appealed in the fact that this is not a genuine pre estimate of loss and they also got my forename wrong on the formal demand but this has been rejected. I realise that they can only chase the driver. I used the template from here to make the appeal, so it was pretty in depth. I have now been advised to pay up or I can now appeal to POPLA. The sign in the car park read as follows and did include a BPA logo
This car park is for the use of Metrolink passengers only
A parking charge will be issued when:
Parking in a disabled bay without displaying a valid disabled badge.
Obstructive parking, including parking outside of a marked parking bay or any unauthorised use of a parking space.
Parking outside of tram service hours
If you park on this land contravening the above parking restrictions you are agreeing to pay a parking charge to the sum of £100.00(or reduced sum of £60 if the payment is made within 14 days).
If this parking charge remains unpaid vehicle keeper details may be requested from the dvla and you may incur additional costs as a result of action taken against you.
This parking charge will be issued in the form of a parking ticket .Enforcement may take place at any time. This land is private property.
A surcharge of £2.50 will be taken for all debit and credit card payments.
Care parking and their client accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to cars or the contents there of unless such loss or damage is caused by care parking. Care parking is solely responsible for providing space maximisation and is not responsible in any way for the car parks service.
.....any help please?
Thanks

Why have you hijacked this thread when you already have two others ongoing for the same issue?0 -
Hi
I didnt intentionally "hijack" the thread, it was clearly an error as a newbie. Navigation on this site is confusing to say the least!
Thanks
