    lillibet, baby socks disappear into thin air at the slightest opportunity. I have often sent my daughter to nursery with odd socks on (shock horror! I'm obviously such a bad parent!!!) because despite the fact that you've paired all the socks up and put them away, when you come to put them on half of them have disappeared (I could put this down to my daughter emptying her drawers at every possible moment!).

    Don't forget to make a note of the babies weight when you are called with the happy news, that way you'll know what size nappies to get. Trust me, you will be told this information. It's obiligtary to tell everyone the sex, weight, time of birth, length of labour, eye colour, hair colour etc etc.
