just popping in to wish Fiasco a fantastic time on holiday!
also need to declare the following UU's -
M&S autograph eyeliner - a rich dark brown which was very soft and jst glided on - wba but I have so many eyeliners I doubt I'll need to buy any for decades yet
Sen 'mood freshener' shower gel - bought for £1 in Savers - it did the job but I wasn't that keen on the scent so wnba
happy pampering, xo0 -
Dry and bright here in "the middle". Not much time for pampering ATM, OH slipped, fell and has broken wrist, one break and one chipped bone, 2 visits to hospital on two consecutive days, now booked in at Orthapaedic Hospital for op on friday to put a plate in:eek: He doesn't do being confined to quarters, so I think we will be having lots of excursions to National Trust and out for coffee to keep him amused.
2 IN's to declare, La Roche-Posay Sun Cream and Clarins Gentle Exfoliating Toner, both items planned purchases, so not volunteering for the naughty step. I hope to have a few UU's during the month though.
Have a great Sunday everyone.:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
luvlycake - I have a similar skin type to you (slightly dry slightly sensitive)... and the Liz Earle Instant Skin Boost Tonic has been fab for my skin. I initially didn't think much of it, but when trying to use up a full size and some samples, I really began to like it and it's the first thing I reached for and wanted on my skin after showering. My skin would immediately feel comfortable and less tight. I'm using up some other toners at the moment, but once I'm done with them this will be back in stock. I know others speak of the smell, but for some odd reason - it really doesn't smell of anything to me!
Another great (and HG) product I would highly recommend is the Melvita Hydrastim - but it's not strictly a toner, but more of a gel that I use after cleansing and before moisturising. Has anyone else here tried this?
& Finally, I am really interested in trying some of the exfoliating toners out there - perhaps the REN, Clarins or Alpha H one. I'm slightly reluctant as my skin is a bit dry, but I might get one to use a couple of times a week and alternate it with the Liz Earle one.
& Finally finally, Fiasco55 - Have a lovely holiday!
The Clarins exfoliating toner is on my list of things to try later in the year. I use the Alpha H one now, I use it twice a week after applying a face mask and I don't use any other skincare on those nights and I am struggling to see what it does. I don't know whether I will repurchase as I just don't see a difference.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi All, hope you have some sunshine where you are.
I painted my nails last night in OPI I'm all ears, now I have a full size I will use the mini one up, I love it so much I didn't use it as often as I wanted as I didn't want to run out.
I am placing my Avon order today with some bits for myself, they have loads of lovely nail polishes at the moment so I have ordered Seduce me Strawberry (sparkly pink) and a sparkly grape coloured one which I have forgotten the name of.
Emma had a set of the OPI Minnies. They were such lovely sparkly colours.
In the time it's taken me to post on the April thread about my intentions to buy some new OPI Oz colours from the Q to the time I've caught up with everyone here I have talked myself out of it. The kits on there are duos and I'd only end up with two other colours that I don't really want. Am now having a look online to see if there are any special offers anywhere. Debenhams have started selling OPI now so will have a look there.
I was very good this time and did not order from Avon even though I was toying with the idea of getting a glimmerstick for my eyebrows. They were reduced to £3.00 this time and as I've never really had any luck with any eyebrow products I decided not to bother. Was in Sainsburys yesterday however and saw that Marie Claire have Avon products as freebies and one of them is the glimmerstick so I bought one saving myself a further 50p!
I did also pick up 2 x copies of Elle for the Benefit They're Real mascara for me and Emma.moneyless_mac wrote: »Does anyone else find Seche Vite takes ages to dry? - I painted my nails this afternoon and added seche vite as a top coat - at least an hour later I did some dishes and the polish had 'melted and squidged' inside the rubber gloves.
It could be that you applied too much product.Well ladies I'm nearly at the end of my toner pile...I need recomendations on what to buy now. I've never been 'wowed' by a toner...
I know what you mean. i still don't get what toner does! However my HG is Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic. You may think it's pricey but the 200ml bottle lasts me a good 4 months and that's in use by both me and Emma. I bought a new bottle yesterday to replace the one I UU this weekend.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Maddie - I hope your DH is on the mend soon and doesn't drive you mad in the process.
I have ins
Lanolips Rose Balm Everyday hand cream
Boots Extracts body butter collection
Nails Inc Caviar top and base coat set
Natural collection lipstick in Cranberry
Natural collection lipstick in Sweet Pea
I have wanted the Lanolips and the Extracts set for ages but the Nails inc was an impulse purchase. The natural collection lipsticks are only £1.99 but they are rather nice, I apply straight from the bullet then blot them down with my finger and they look quite natural and last as well as Rimmel and the like which cost quite a few pounds more.
I had a couple of vouchers from doing surveys which I used and also go 450 bonus points so not too bad. I have another £10 voucher on the way too.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

If you're after cheap OPI polishes, try fragrancedirect.co.uk. They have quite a big selection for only £3.99 each. Bit of a bargainI'm very tempted to buy the full size of 'Kiss Me On My Tulips' I have the mini and really love it!

Well I was a very good girl and didn't buy anything in the body s yesterday. I had two sales assistants come and attempt their sales pitch on me too! Finally found out what BB cream is, but didn't think it blended to my skin at all - I looked like I had put on a very bad fake tan job.
So I'm very pleased to announce no INS.0 -
Got to post and dash so will catch up properly later, but hope everyone's having a lovely weekend so far
A couple of UUs from me while I remember:
Garner Minerals Ultra Dry AP 250ml - HG and more in the stash
Nivea Advanced Hydration Primer 1.5ml sachet - WMBA, nice smell and seems to do the job, face feels very silky
And a couple of INs from the Elemis GWP deal *goes to sit on naughty step*. But could have been worse, I got the facial wipes which were about the same price as my usual Boots ones (which I'm low on anyway) and it means I get a couple of Elemis products I've been wanting to try for a while. See how I've managed to justify it to myself?!
Will count these as INs once delivered, they have been dispatched so hopefully will arrive TuesMFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

Do not wish to enable but nail polish direct have the oz collection for £7.45 each. Ive never used them myself but it seems quite popular on the nail page I frequent. I was drooling over the glitters but seen some swatches and I think im now only wanting 'which is witch?' The hexes in the 'when monkeys fly' apparently curl and there is lots of fishing required for 'emerald city'.No more buying toiletries0 -
Hi everyone please count me in again for May i was reading but not posting for most of April. So nice to see all the lovely stash lists.
4 UU to report so far this month
Hair dye - WBA (especially if on offer for buy 1 get 2 free TY Supadrug) Mouth Wash Travel Size WMBA bought so i could have a change in flavour from my large normal one. Foot works Milky foot soak 100ml - WNBA one of those products that i never got time to do for its orginal purpose so re assigned it the job of bubblebath, worked rather well at it to but too expensive to buy just for this purpose again. Loreal triple resist shampoo sample WMBA One use in the packet and to be honest it didnt instantly wow me but sometimes shampoos take longer to show effects.
Happy pampering all and enjoy the bank holiday those lucky enough to get an extra day off tomorrow.Consolidated and under control 42 payments to go.:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:([STRIKE]£7028.50[/STRIKE]£5990.43Aim: 35 and Debtfree0
