Hi Torry Quine - by no means where my comments meant to offend. It's just when I don't know the area very well I have to go by peoples comments. As you said there are good parts and bad parts of all areas, it just needs a lot of research to find them out!

I would use Rightmove instead, they have more properties I believe.

It's no worse or better than anywhere else.

Yes they have portable toilets which they put out but that mean that it makes it cleaner surely.
It's worse than some places and better than others. the portable toilets are only needed because a small minority of people are too anti social to behave in a civilised fashion and would as you suggest go in the streets. I am taking about urinals which back onto the street with no wall round them.

Anyway it hasn't changed the fact it has been one of my favourite places since the 70s and hasn't put me off coming back up, and bringing my GF up to see it - sorry if it put anyone's back up. some

Not up here in scotland. Due to the way the buying process works here Solicitors propery groups are by a long way the most common way to sell a house.

Agree with this whole-heartedly and there is far more property available on ASPC. However it is worth still checking on Rightmove too as a small minority of Solicitors only use that

    Total hogwash.

RM have 21 properties in Aberdeen, a mere fraction of the total for sale.

You didn't actually LOOK at RM for Aberdeen, did you?

  • I used to live in Aberdeen and lived town centre and Victoria road in Tory. Felt safer walking through Tory at 6am to get the bus than I did walking up crown street!

If I could move back I would as I loved it up there.
