I'm guessing that since the PRV is blowing each time and there is a subsequent loss of pressure, there must be an over-pressure situation to cause this?If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

My experience of this is that once the PRV operates it VERY rarely seals again properly. This can be from trapped debris on the seat of the valve, but most likely its because the rubber washer sticks to its seat (because its held tightly shut for so long) within the PRV and then tears when it operates and therefore continues to let by. As a result I tend to change the PRV as a matter of course in these situations to save on call-backs.
Am I warm??
