"ASHABDI: popla refused my appeal
Hello Popla have just replied to say they have refused my appeal for stopping for 17 secs as my visitor was unwell at Liverpool Airport.
I didn't follow the Forum,s advice as to how to appeal as I am not ofay
with all this, I have explained earlier to people, but now I can't find them, they said to let them know if my appeal failed, also they prey on us older ones as we are easily intimidated. What do I do it is now £100.00 fine. Thank you"
"Kirkbyinfurnesslad Well for starters don't hijack a completely unrelated thread, it makes no sense..... Why not go on your original one?"
"ASHABDI I am sorry for hijacking somebody's thread. I really can't get my head round this 'threads'posts etc. My appeal has failed got a letter this morning"
LETTER BEFORE ACTION from VCS I am not paying it, what is there success rate at court anyone know???"
Please now continue on THIS thread.
To answer your question about the LBA - you need to go to this thread and read up about the Practice Direction on Pre-action Conduct,
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4754020
then follow the instructions to check your LBA against the information the claimant is supposed to provide and write back to them following the advice on that thread. It is perfectly clear. When/if you get a response come back to THIS thread and we will help you further.
Please note - we cannot write the letter for you. There is no template response, you just have to follow the instructions to reply to YOUR LBA yourself. Also, it is in your own interests to keep the correspondence off the forum as the PPCs do read the forums.

Lazydaisy.
Without wishing to attack anyone, you have to wonder whether its worth helping people if they cant complete simple tasks. This is even more prevalent when you get along to the court stage.
How on earth would they cope in the court room should it happen?Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
I agree. In fact I do sometimes think that some posters would be better off just paying the scammers and getting on with their lives....

Yes i have advised quite a few people to pay (mainly parking eye) as it was just hitting a head against a brick wall with court claims when they couldnt get their head round stuff or were to lazy.
So now i just bullet point advice, after skim reading the post.
Personally i now treat all ppc tickets the same , giving the same appeal/popla advice, if you have a winning formula for POPLA why beat around the bush? I only treat two of the ppcs different .Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0
