    Hi everybody,

I have had my claim rejected by Swiss airlines and then by the CAA (Basically because Swiss Airlines told the CAA a reason for the delay to the one which they told me. As I have a record of the emails I believe I have a legitimate claim.
My problem is finding the registered office of Swiss Airlines in the UK where I can serve the summons. Their web site quotes a ticket desk in Heathrow. I have tried a search on the internet but nothing comes up. Can anybody suggest a way to find this out

    Thank you.

Are you sure they are subject to EU regs? Switzerland is in the EU. Might be worth a googgle.

Just re-read this, it should have said NOT in the EU. I don't know where you stand with this.

My 1000th post and how appropriate on a wet miserable morning in Yorkshire, almost makes you want to go on a plane with Jet2 to somewhere sunny ?

Thankfully I believe I'm due a windfall to allow me to do just that.

At this moment, I cannot possibly comment if my personal claim has been paid or not, that may or may not break any potential confidentiality clauses....

I'd just like to thank every single member on MSE, that I've had the pleasure of exchanging posts and even sharing a BLT sandwich with one, love is!

I personally can't possibly single out any one person to thank, I'd be here all day, and re-editing this post every time I missed someone out, so a deeply filled warm thank you to every single member that has helped me, and to those few that I in return have helped rather than hopefully hindered.....

It's the end of the flight for me, I'm getting off, but just like the airlines, my departure may be delayed for some time to come yet....

    Cheers,

    NoviceAngel

Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

    Current known score:-
Dr Watson 35 - 0 Ryanair / Ince and Co

Go to post 622 on the Ryanair thread to read how to sue them safely.

Switzerland, although not a member of the EU counts as an EU country for the puposes of EU261/2004. Several other countries in the EEA also count. A list of countries is here:

The above is just my opinon - which counts for nowt! You must make up your own mind.

I had a delay in August 2014 for which I have submitted a claim and entered into correspondence with Monarch. I am currently receiving the 6 weekly letter saying they are investigating etc. and warning me they will fight any legal action should I instigate it. I will pursue the case to a conclusion but would welcome some advice on a particular point - we were advised the delay was a technical fault. I have asked Monarch for details of the fault at a very early part of the correspondence but surprisingly they have not responded(!). Should I chase them on this point or just accept that I have asked them and they have chosen not to, or failed to respond to my question? Thanks in anticipation.
