    We've just swapped over to Flow. Our meter is 'economy 7' but because it also shows the total use they were ok with us moving to a single meter tariff. Nothing to stop us moving to an E7 tariff again in the future with the same meter.

    To be honest, we're saving ~£150 by moving to Flow. Changing from E7 only saves another £20 or so, but given our lose use there's no way we'll be better on E7 tariffs.

    Why didn't you stay with Economy 7? Flow have an Economy 7 tariff. My price comparison is saying Flow will be £201 cheaper for Economy 7 than my existing supplier, and £91 cheaper than EDF who I was with at my previous place (EDF were fine apart from giving me two account numbers for dual fuel, so their web site required me to log in and out twice to submit meter readings!?). Flow seems like a pretty good deal.
  • I moved to Flow a couple of months ago. No complaints so far.

    I live in rented accommodation so the kicker for me is the fee free cancellation.

    It's a pretty decent tariff as well, along with the fact of the naturally good feeling of not giving your money to one of the big six.

    I've now been with Flow for more than a year, and have no complaints. I'm paying what I thought was fair in terms of monthly payments, calculated from my previous consumption, but with the mild(ish) winter and early spring and our currently beautiful weather, I have ended up well in credit with them. I phoned them up to ask about that, and was told the enquiry would be referred to their payments department for review, and I should wait a couple of weeks for a response. Sure enough I got an email in due course saying they think the payment should stay as they are, but they will refund me £100 to bring down the credit balance. Very nice!
  • I just switched to Flow from Sainsbury's Energy. The savings won't be huge - single person, small terrace house, but still... I talked to a Flow customer assistant when trying to find the meter reference numbers - which aren't on Sainsbury's online bills, or anywhere else that I could see, and she seemed very well informed and helpful, eventually finding them via the meter serial numbers. I later confirmed them from some old British Gas paperwork; sometimes it helps to keep old papers available!

    I shopped around online and found Flow energy. They were £10 dearer than the cheapest but the good thing is there is NO CANCELLATION fee which leaves us free to shop around for cheaper quotes whenever we want. Should have switched sooner from Utility Warehouse, just been too busy. Going by last years usage we can save nearly £300 both gas and elec over the year!!!
  • OK - it's the time to review who I get my energy from and so visited the MSE energy club site to help me... 2nd choice was Flow Energy with a possible saving of about £34 a month against the BG standard rate which I'll be switched too if I stay put and do nothing... so I went to the Flow website and entered all my info and.... it's coming in at £45 MORE than BG!!

    Something wrong completely between the MSE site and the actual Flow site me thinks...??

    I'm intending to switch to Flow next month from iSupply. I note that unlike iSupply Flow do have people to answer phones and do so very promptly, although ideally I shouldn't need to phone at all. As I regularly take monthly meter readings their monthly billing will be ideal for me.

    I've just started the process, looks OK so far.
    Welcome letter, tariff and clear explanation of what will happen received promptly.
    The tariff & yearly costs they sent me tally almost exactly with what energyhelpline.com predicted.

    Been with them since April. They email you every month for your meter readings. Also they want your DOB for some reason
    Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring
  • Just thought I'd chip in with the Flow thread as a low energy user for gas and electric (Gas 4400 kwh/electric 1350 kwh per annum).

    I've been with Ebico (which are SSE) and had no issues and good service as they were the cheapest for a long time for low users like me.

    However, I am on a very tight budget, and got an energy club alert for £50+ savings with Flow. That quid a week really matters with my budget with all the other money saving bits I do, amounts to a few quid a month which is sink or swim for me!!

    Have noted some customer service issues, so am nervous about changing as had no such problems with current supplier. But cash is king here, so will try them. No exit fee means that if I dont like them, I can leave anytime. Also noted that the free boiler is only available to high volume users.

    Anyway, just wanted to post something up for low users, (did screen shots saved as .jpegs but cant upload them here!) My quote:

    Unit rate 12.791 pence per kWh
    Ebico=16.548 pence per kWh

    3.727 pence per kWh
    Ebico=5.408 pence per kWh

    £207.74 per annum Ebico=£224.39 per annum
    £203.14 per annum Ebico=£241.82 per annum

    £35.00 Monthly Direct Debit
    £55.34 savings per annum

    Split
    Electricity £18.00 per month
    Gas£17.00 per month

    Hope this is helpful for low users. Will post back here if I have any problems. Fingers crossed, off to sign up now!!:T
