  • Good morning :D

I am in this week. Thanks Natty for the lists, and Dusty for last week.

Not much flying this weekend :o Popped over to see my mum on Saturday in the hope that I could get her out of the house for half an hour's break from SD (he came home from hospital on Wednesday after a 6/7 week stay). He is bed-ridden now, and they have carers coming in 4 times a day to help, but it is very tiring for her. he only lets up when he is sleeping! He has always been quite needy (it's the way he was brought up - mother waiting on him!) We didn't get out, as he 'needed' her, so we left them to it (carers had arrived) & did a food shop. I also managed to get some underwear for me & DD2 from Debs in the blue cross sale with a voucher I had from Christmas :) She is an awkward size 30 and most places start at 32 (skinny minnie!)

Yesterday we worked on the garden, sowed some seeds - including some really old ones!! I don't know if they will do much, but they are better off in some dirt than in the packet :)

I have listed/relisted 46 items on ebay. So far 3 will sell, so it's a start.

I plan to do the bathroom after I have dropped Miss T at nursery. Easy dinner for the kiddies tonight, and stuff from the freezer for us.

Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them, esp Bossy & LW

Lacking GUAG today so benefiting from making my list short and chunky.

    Bedroom dusting done
Toilets and sinks (including kitchen) done
    Kitchen window ledge wiped
    Tidying done

Just had early lunch as I got up so early. WM finishing so will pop that on the line and then cycle to town which will just take an hour with the chores.

I'm in, thank you Natty. I'm abandoning the sewing this morning to get some of the clutter sorted and straightened. I suddenly feel the house is taking my life over again.

I found this on You Tube. I'm better at doing new things if I can see it done first, and the whole daff dead heading thing was bothering me - my mother told me I did it all wrong the first and only time I tried to help her 50 years ago but she didn't get around to showing me how to do it properly. So, a link for anyone else like me who feels unsure about it:

It's the first one I found that actually showed it in detail, which is what I needed.
    Better is good enough.

  • Hi there! I'm in again this week - and thank you Dusty for last week and Natty for this week's lists.

We've had quite a relaxing weekend - not too much flying! We went out for the afternoon on Saturday, but changed the bed, cleaned the bathroom and got two wash loads done first, which dried in the sunshine while we were out.

Yesterday I made a yummy SC meal and printed all our holiday forms off for our trip next month - we are now all ready with the paperwork, hurrah!

Had a tidy round and de-clutter of dining area surfaces today (how does it build up?) and just having toast and a cuppa before work.

Good vibes and good health wishes all round - Lamewolf - I hope you are ok. I broke my little toe last year - never went to the docs as I could bend it - but weeks later, still in agony, I went - and it was broken! Good wishes to you, I do hope you are healing.

    Bye for now, R x
