Got pics on laptop but having difficulty uploading to this message.
DVLA will defo be getting email tomorrow - Town and City Parking LTD as clear as you like on the signs!
Many thanks
Do check out the sticky thread 'PPC letter chains' (old pre-October pictures!) because that shows the full letter chain that Smart Parking send to potential victims of this scam. Don't look for Smart or TCP on the thread, look instead for the letters from Debt Recovery Plus and Zenith because that's the rubbish you will be bombarded with:

And here's a thread with a timeline of the letters you'll get before the whole scam fizzles out:

You could also of course, complain to the Hospital about their Parking Agent (maybe wait until you get a reply from the DVLA).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

SUCCESS!!!!
Had phone call from NHS as I had complained to them as well - saying that they had "feedback" from the parking management company saying that my car had been parked outwith a marked bay "alledgedly" but since we had never had a ticket before they had advised the company to cancel the notice with immediate effect, but that if we got another another "correctly issued" ticket we would have to pay.
Had also sent email to DVLA as per previous post and had a reply back today saying that Town and City Parking are the trading name of Smart Parking Ltd - sent a reply saying that the notices in the car park say Town and City Parking LTD - not had a response yet!
Would recommend that anyone else who gets one of these tickets challenges it - just goes to show what you can do by complaining!!!
Many thanks to everyone who gave me advice.0 -
Glad you got this cancelled well done
we do recommend to complain like hell to all concerned on these fake tickets. Can you come back with the dvla response. Thanks When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

Well done!!
Let me guess - that reply completely missing the point was from Elizabeth Symons?! If so then join the club, she completely misses the point of complaint emails. I even reported an AOS member PPC where the website says they can 'hold the registered keeper liable after seven days', and that they use the word 'penalty' and have misleading links to local Council websites for no reason at all.
She replied 'it looks as though they act for Councils as well...'. NOPE they don't - and if she's fooled then that rather proved my point! I followed it up but she stopped replying as I reported so many PPCs I think she got fed up. And months later the website is the same.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Will post reply from DVLA if I receive one! The reply from them came from the Data Sharing Team - no individuals name - can't wait to see what they come back with!
Many thanks again0 -
Received this from DVLA today - happy to oblige of course!
We can confirm that Smart Parking Ltd were previously trading as Town and City Parking Ltd and are currently trading as Town and City Parking. Smart Parking Ltd were tasked with removing the ‘Ltd’ from their signage to comply with their current trading name but it appears from your photographs that this has not been completed.
If possible, could you please provide us with date/time stamped photographs showing the signage or confirmation of the date/time you took the photographs so that we may investigate further.
Regards
Data Sharing Team

That's more like it, you can show the date and time of the file name, or I think it's possible to put the date on the image, I will look into that for you today when I get time, unless another tech savvy person comes along with some adviceWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you.
