I will have to get card cancelled,
As you've already been told - that's unnecessary as it will achieve nothingwill try bank.
Who'll ask you to try to resolve it with the broker first.FSO and writing them a letter.
The FSO will only be interested once you've exhausted the complaints process of the broker first. So annoying though that I don't even know what site I was on,
Your letter to the FSO is going to make very interesting reading......Optimists see a glass half full
Pessimists see a glass half empty
Engineers just see a glass twice the size it needed to be0 -
If you don't even know who you are complaining about, the FSO are probably more useful than the FOS.0

The refund is time limited I think. I don't really see what your complaint is though......you applied via a broker, you put your card details into their site and they charged you as per their t&c.
Not knowing where you did it will likely mean your not going to get your money back. How many times did you enter your details into sites you can't remember the name of?
Is the site not in your browser history?0 -

I've just looked through every junk and regular mail and nothing I can see about a broker fee, also no confirmation that they now have taken one out of my account.
They did not supply me with a service they did not find my a loan(I was in the library at the time and even though some lender/broker sites load, anything that i saw 'searching' would not redirect it just was blocked. Although most 'lender' sites worked, anything trying to redirect as I said was blocked. There is no way I would have paid £69.99.
So they did not provide any service, £69.99 for nothing, who wouldn't complain at that?0 -
You are not listening are you?! You agreed to the fee when you put your card details in and clicked apply/submit. It would be in the terms and conditions. Along with the process for applying for the refund.
You might just have to put this down as a learning experience0 -

So are you saying that even if I know who the actual finance company is, I can't contact them direct and have them find my details and ask for a cancellation? That doesn't seem unreasonable to me.0 -
Looks as if they haven't paid their internet bill. I don't rate your chances of getting anything back very highly, I'm afraid.0

After a small amount of digging, Enhance Financial Services is the same as MyLoan, so I assume you entered your details in myloan.co.uk
http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/myloan
http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/enhance-financial-services
So using MyLoan T&C'sUnder the Financial Services (Distance Marketing) Regulations 2004 you have the right to cancel your agreement with us within 14 days of receiving these terms and conditions, you will be entitled to a full refund which will be made within 30 days of receiving your request. If you would like to cancel You must Inform us in writing by email to customerservices@myloan.co.uk or by writing to My Loan, 5300 Lakeside, Cheadle Royal Business Park, Manchester, SK83GP.
I would do it in writing, via the post office, and get a proof of posting receipt.0 -

The thing is I don't remember the myloans site and they probbly have many more sites, some set up to look like lenders, it's also possible that they have timed the £69 fee from my account so it's after 14 days.
I can see right away that myloans is a broker, and I just would not have used it as I know about brokers fees, that's why I am so perplexed.
I'll try CAB and a money advice shop tomorrow see if they have any ideas.0
