Never heard of Enhance, so not sure what site it would be. There were a few sites I tried.

I there anyway my bank can find out who they are?

Also do you mean they couldn't match a loan for me or even if they did match a loan I wasn't accepted how would I go about proving I never got a loan..

    What are my next steps?

Ok looks like their front company name is http://www.magicfinancegroup.com which takes you to a site, http://www.paydayloanspaydayloans.net/

Any advice would be much appreciated.
At the very bottom of the page it says:

"Pay Day Loans Pay Day Loans is not currently trading and is only online for testing and development purposes."

and it's seems it's a very common problem and the CEO of the company is currently facing rape charges right now, no surprise there.

This isn't relevant at all, and could be defamatory if it is wrong.

You must apply in writing to the company, for your fee back, minus £5.

The 'small print' tells you if they're a provider or a broker quite clearly. I'm sorry for you, OP, but you really do need to read things carefully if you are handing over access to your bank account/debit card.

Wishing you better days in the future.

Would it be worth getting the card cancelled and replaced to stop anything else coming out of your account?

The OP on the Consumer action group thread quoted above had a "Club Penguin" (whatever that is) account opened on his card shortly after he was charged £69.99 by this company, and he had to cancel his card.

Club Penguin is a kid's game and they probably use CPAs to take their fees - so cancelling the card will have achieved nothing unless he also instructed his bank to cancel the CPA and the authority would have continued to be in force.

Likewise, any authorisations given to the brokers would have been prior to the card being cancelled and would be processed.

I'll try the bank on Monday for advice, others seem to be getting refunds though, just seems you need to go down the right avenue though.

So you think a letter is the best way, do I mention cancellation period etc, or what do I say?

The story about the CEO is 100% true. Google it,

Yup, can confirm that, club penguin is a kids game, money taken by CPA.
    Though cancellation is pretty painless.

I will have to get card cancelled, I never received any service as a result of these people so I should be entitled to a refund, will try bank. FSO and writing them a letter. So annoying though that I don't even know what site I was on, hopefully that doesn't matter and can be traced and show that I never received a loan as a result of their so-called service. If I was to start phoning, i.e the bank the FSO and Enhance I would probaly rack up another £60 in phone bills, which again is very annoying, determined to reclaim this money though. Total scam, and Ed Milliband talks about banning Payday lenders, I think he should ban these brokers instead, they make the lenders look like angels.
