I was looking for a payday loan, and it's possible I signed up on a brokers site and have now lost £69.99, so angry. It's a company called ENHANCE, that's all the bank could see, so after a google looks like it's a company called Enhance financial.

I take it there's no way to get this money back, such a scam?

Well you did authorise it - how else would they have your card details?

However if they do not provide you with a loan you can ask for your money back minus a £5 fee. The way to do this will be on the site.

Read their T&C's , you normally write to them (not email/phone etc) and they refund (eventually) minus £5.

    Looks a great business

Never heard of Enhance, so not sure what site it would be. There were a few sites I tried.

I there anyway my bank can find out who they are?

Also do you mean they couldn't match a loan for me or even if they did match a loan I wasn't accepted how would I go about proving I never got a loan..

    What are my next steps?

Ok looks like their front company name is http://www.magicfinancegroup.com which takes you to a site, http://www.paydayloanspaydayloans.net/

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Do you make a habit of randomly entering your card details on numerous websites? You could well find a few more payments being deducted over the next few days/weeks.

I'd suggest you check your email (including spam) to see if anyone of a similar name has written to you or have a look at your browser history and workout who you handed your card details over to.

I was possibly a bit reckless and also a bit desperate, I had no idea it was a broker thought they were all loaners. and I was very careful about this as well, I can't find a direct email address for Enhance but I have been reading this post

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?335815-myloan-Enhance-Financial-Services-Unauthorised-debit-of-%A369.99-natwest-refuse-chargeback!!

and it's seems it's a very common problem and the CEO of the company is currently facing rape charges right now, no surprise there.

Can anyone help me here finding an email address and an arguement. A few posts up jonesMUFCforever seems to think I can get my money back but on other sites they say they can't get a refund although some have, so tips?

Please read the website terms and conditions.
If you are incapable of doing that and then do not follow the cancellation policy exactly - you can kiss goodbye to all of your money.

    Over to you.

So there is a cancelation policy after 14 or 30 days?

I don't even know the website it was. Can I contact their parent companies, i.e Enhance or Quintessential Finance, direct and sort it out from there?

If you thought they were all loan companies and you were going to get a loan, just how many were you taking and how were you going to repay them all?

try googling the name of the companies and look at the terms and conditions. you should get some clues

If you can't remember who it was, send a refund letter to every lender and broker you can find. you'll get the right one eventually
