And what will probably be my last NSD this month has voluntarily jumped into the Cauldron of Doom, making my grand total 18 NSDs for May!!!! That has to be my best ever score!
Amazing what being strapped for cash can do...I just need to apply the same determination on the days I have money in my account....

NSD #19 today, though had one of those 'why did I bother to get up today' days. Another feathered fatality in the garden, this time nothing to do with mog who was curled up asleep on the sofa but was just about to head out to work when I saw a poor wood pigeon being attacked in the garden by a crow and magpie. Shooed them off and scooped up the poor little thing who was badly bloodied and missing a lot of feathers. It was pouring with rain and looked so pathetic and sad :( Took the poor wee fella to the vets where he was pts sadly - deff wouldn't have survived had I left him and at least he didn't suffer longer than necessary.

A difficult day at the office to say the least - in fact the highlight was boot camp in the pouring rain - you could've literally rung me out

Poor OH got home to find mog had icked everywhere in the day adn I broken the news I might have to go away on business at short notice, so a testing start to the evening.

Oh, but on a happy note, it's our anniversary today

Sorry that I have not been around much just lately.:( I have been feeling a little under the weather and it would appear that my general sense of wellbeing has a direct effect on my chattiness :o

Anyway, here it is...at long last...

Ah you're very sweet kerri. There's not many people that would care about a wild bird like that.

Also happy anniversary. And sorry to hear about the icky puddy cat.

NSD # 16 haven't been out anywhere again. Been so exhausted. Out for coffee with a friend tomorrow though so will be a spend day.

And... Just received my payslip and am being paid £300 more than usual, now I know I'm not paying my pension whilst on maternity and have had a payrise but not that much so little anxious about where the extra has come from. Don't want to have to pay it back.

    Evening all,

    I am declaring NSD #16 today :D

I didn't do a supermarket shop at the weekend because I was busy so this week's menus may be a little 'experimental'. Tonight's dinner was fish fingers on a tortilla wrap with the remnants of a bag of salad (as per the serving suggestion on the box!) and it was blimmin' tasty. I forgot how good fish fingers are :rotfl:
