Well this bank holiday weekend I have managed to achieve NSDs #5 & #6 :j

It's now going to be impossible for me to reach my target this month :(

On the positive side though this challenge has really made me think about when I spend my money and the little supermarket runs for milk or bread which usually result in other purchases.

I really need to be more organised, plan better and I'm looking forward to trying again in June.

That said I may get another day of two in before the end of the month?:o

I find that only taking enough money for bread / milk when I'm popping out to get just those works well for me - as I can't buy anything else :)

Woohoo & Yippee to all those achieving target this weekend.

Just popped in to report unexpected NSD 19. Had planned to do my proper weekly shop but have locked out my debit card trying to pay the phone bill . I'm with one of the non high street banks and the customer service dept is closed til tomorrow:rotfl:. Did make me realise it could give me a headache if something unfortunate was to happen and didn't have the non-paying live in (who did pay for lunch today :D) to fall back on.

As I didn't actually need to shop today - it was just convenient - I'm hoping I can make this target......

Hanb - good luck with your "practice" week. We don't shout at anyone who doesn't manage to catch NSDs - but the penalties for saying the F word (as in "f a i l") are very severe - in the past they have included a going over with a soggy paintbrush, a severe thrashing with a mouldy kipper (straight out of CW18's freezer, which, I have to warn you, is the size of Wembley Stadium) and now....an encounter with the dreaded Jaws. You do not want to go there. Every NSD grabbed is a good 'un and adds to the magic total in the Cauldron of Doom.

:rotfl: that has tickled me! I shall never ever ever use that word. I'm too afraid of what else might be lurking in CW18's stadium size freezer!

So I've been planning ready for June as promised :D

This is my practise week! I've been and done a big shop today and I'm going to aim for 3NSD's this week. I know I need to spend on Tuesday and Wednesday but i'm going to try and let that be all!

I'm not counting my bills that I have to pay, smokes or petrol (I have to have it for work!) but that's it.

I'll see how this week goes and start thinking about an optimistic but realistic target for June :)

You all have to promise not to shout at me if I'm usless :) Enjoy the rest of your BH all x

We don't shout at anyone, hanb, unless, as Nargle has already said, they use the dreaded "f" word:D. The last time I saw the inside of CW's freezer there were some unidentified specimens in there... I think they may have been NSD-ers who used that word.... be afraid!!:D:D
    Good Afternoon folks:),

I hope you are all well and enjoying any Bank Holiday sunshine that you managed to find, as it's raining in NI for a change:p. Thank you for the Birthday wishes and I have had a red wine fuelled weekend and enjoyed every drop:D

Glad you had a good birthday weekend, Red:D

Don't be downhearted, julie, if you're thinking about your spends then that's the start of the process. We all started with low numbers, be proud of the 6 NSDs you've nabbed this month, a lot of people would be really happy with that. Fingers crossed for another one or two this month:)
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
