Well done to all the very clever DS's and DD's out there.

We must be brilliant to have such clever offspring.

My DD is off to Uni too in September - I have no idea where she gets her brains from...........and she is a real miser.............she definitely doesn't get that gene from me :rotfl:

  • Hi All,

Been a really busy month, but found new house to rent (had to pay the LA fees and rent up front as expected but still :mad:).

Thankfully managed to beg/steal/borrow loads of boxes and a van so at least the actual move will be fairly cheap but still needed loads of bits and pieces over the month.

So far managed 21 NSDs so two days to reach the target for this month - I WILL capture 22 NSDs in May even if I have to hunt high and low for the last one (which I probably will:rotfl:).

Looking forward to the new place, but must resist spending on non essential items (this has always been a weakness of mine in new houses :o).

    and me

Last Friday was a spendy day (nipped down the road while OH grabbed a few hours - he finished nights at 6am, and came straight here to bring me a cuppa in bed for the first time ever ;))

Saturday was NSD #13 as OH and I went out and walked just over 10 miles

Sunday was a spend day due to the second food festival of the year (and, indeed, of the month!)

Monday was NSD #14 as I spent a large chunk of the shop open hours doing a 10+ mile walk/run (ran 3.7 miles of the outing - first time on flat as I was on a towpath)

Tuesday was a spendy day (D/Debit only)

and today was another spendy day (went out for groceries, and bobbed in and out of most of the local shops to replenish my supply of painkillers and anti-inflams after using up most of what I had left due to straining a groin muscle on Monday :()
