It keeps it simple for me and all other costs are hidden in the Buy it Now price auctions I mostly use.
Works for me.
If you charge only the cost of the stamps, don't you make a loss due to paypals fees?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

All my costs and Ebay/Paypal fees are worked out on a speadsheet for each item I sell.
I know what my overall profit will be after everything considered including income tax, packaging etc.
I see it could have been a joke.......sorry0 -
So you think a seller, knowing all this and who still thinks they have a right to overcharge is being clever?
Personally I don't think trying to save a few pence on FVFs by risking your entire ebay account and future selling shows intelligence at all, quite the opposite. It is hard enough already to keep perfect stars, so why go out intentionally to annoy buyers and risk the lot?
You are mixing two subjects - the sellers contract with ebay and scammer buyers.
If i fall foul of Ebays NEW rules (remember DSR's were brought out pretty recently to make ebay more money in fees) - thats between me and Ebay. If buyers want to mark down - that up to them.
But to go one step further - and buy the cheapest item (p&p combined) - and then try and get it even cheaper by SCAMMING the seller is wrong.
Many people joined Ebay to be self employed. They are not - they now work for Ebay - as they are in charge and have conned unintelligent buyers into raising fees.
The price that matters is TOTAL price. Buyers are helping Ebay push prices UP for buyers and sales DOWN for Ebay sellers.
The only winners are tax dodging EBAY.
I don't overcharge on postage. But if i dont like something i don't buy it. I don't go ahead and buy with the intension of scamming the seller via feedback extorsion. One buyer admitted doing it today - and said they warn the seller that feedback will be bad if they don't get a refund. Your advice was just to do it without mentioning feedback, as they can have it removed. How about telling them not to buy in the first place and stop scamming? It against Ebay rules to try change the price after winning. As your a stippler for Ebay rules - what about that one?0 -

A lot of the changes for sellers are from Ebay talking to buyers and trying to retain them. Inclusive post isn't just on Ebay, most online sellers have moved to that model..0 -
The buyer never left feedback nor replied to my polite email. I explained i won't be paying them anything back as they agreed to my terms when bidding.Win's of 2014 so far-Maxfactor mascara, £50 Pizza Express Voucher, Dr Oetker Pizza, Nuby sippy cup :j:beer:0
