Hi Guys!!
Not a long post as really not too good. These antibiotics have wiped me out and keep sleeping. Its horrid and making my joints hurt more.
DD has her friend here for the weekend and supposed to be going to a BBQ Sunday weather permitting and health I think too. They are all set up for me, so its nice and comfy.
Sold quite a few bits the last few days, so thats good and have sorted through paperwork a little too.
Have put all DD's uni stuff into a folder now as its piling up and all her confirmation of tenancy contract has come through and confirmation with regards to our income on finance forms too, so theres loads with more to come!
Anyway, OH doing dinner and smells lovely. If I remember to take a picture, I will post on the other thread.
Take care.

Evening all
DGS & DGD2 came over for a couple of hours after work, lovely to see them, they are such fun. DGS was telling us all about his day at school & DGD2 has decided she doesn't want nappies any more, so need lifting on to the toilet every couple of minutes.
I also have a text from an old friend which was nice too.
Sunny here today, much cooler but still mild enough to be in the garden.
Chicken & chips for tea & an early night is planned, well early to bed, but not early to sleep, lol.
Hugs Hester

Good Evening chums ,crikey what a washout of a day it was today. I got to DDs this morning around 7.50 and DGS Ben said could I take him to school as he's left his raincoat in his locker yesterday (it was chucking it down) but as he's a good lad I said ok so dropped him off and returned to DDs and took daft dog (Ollie) to the local park for his constitutional (he is shy of having a wee, so he won't wee if anyone's around ,including the little Jack Russell Lexi) Even I have to look the other way when he lifts his leg,:):)he's such a soppy dog and a bit of an old man (14) now, so he doesn't walk very far.I have never know such a dozy dog
:)then back home with him and by this time I was more than a bit damp, and had the school run to do with DGS Mikey.Eventually got home just after 9.00a.m.had a productive morning, after getting changed, as I was wet through including my shoes. At lunchtime I had a sandwich and thought I fancy some pineapple as I had a bowl in the fridge that I had cut up from a fresh one .Sat down to watch the lunchtime news and promptly dropped the pineapple bowl into my lap covering me in juice ,so another change of clothes. This afternoon off I went to History club and got soaked coming out to get to my car afterwards so after sorting out the boys I have just got home and changed for the third time this time I'm in my PJ's and I'm hoping I can get through the evening without getting damp again
:)
Apart from all my washing that I now have to do tomorrow I am fine
:)
Hope everyone has a good evening, its feet up and a bit of t.v. tonight
Cheers chums

P.S.My late Ma-in-law used to make my Pa-in-law Welsh cakes anyone with a good recipe, I haven't had one for years and used to really enjoy them. She also made cheese on toast in a pan with milk and mustard as it was how my Pa-in-law said was the best way to make it
:)
On the upside at least the rain's stopped now, and a watery sun is out,but I'm staying indoors where hopefully I shall stay dry

Hello all,
Finally taxed my car this morning as had somehow deleted the email giving me pin to do it online, so had to go to council office....didn't take very long to get rid of my €330 but at least that's finished for a year....would hate to have anything bigger than my 1.2 Clio, although I think that newer cars have a lighter carbon footprint and cost less, not a reason to buy a new car though, couldn't afford a Dinky at present!
Just realised that my house insurance is due next month....can't seem to get away from bills at present, hopefully things will level out a bit by the summer, have spent more than income every month so far this year, but that's the way the bills run, nothing annual from May to December, so might manage to scrape out within our income this year.
Sorry to be such a whinge, will be back to my sunny self any day now I hope. Hugs to all who need or want one, have a good weekend and stay safe.
