O/S Daily Friday 26th April

Upstairs is all clean now :j dusted , tidied , hoovered , all that is except dd2 s floor drobe , I am not doing that . Dd1s bedding is washed, dried and back on , can't wait for her to come home later today :j

DH is still drilling and making a mess downstairs so I've cleaned the kitchen and living room but I've left the kitchen floor and the dining room until he has finished .

Off out tonight for a birthday meal at t0by c@very, I downloaded 2 vouchers for 2 meals and 2 puds for £12.50 so £25 for the 4 of us :j

Good morning every body,we have finally got our internet connection back:j,its seemed a long few weeks.Really missed reading the daily.On the upside have got a few jobs done .I've made the odd post using the dongle but had to let DS1 use it most of the time for work so I'm not up to date with your news but gather a few of you are feeling down so sunny vibes to you.DiL2b suffers and she isnt good at the moment either.

Just got a butternut roasting to make some lunchtime soup,my friend lent me a 5/2 fast cook book and its out of there.I've lost half a stone so far and been doing it about 7 weeks so slow but steady.Hopefully I'll look a bit better in my holiday clothes by June.We have booked an apartment in France which I'm really looking forward to,will try not to nearly drown this time!It will be the 1st time in years we have been away for longer than 3 nights as I never liked leaving Leodog for long.

DGD due overnight later.She is getting very independent now,(or wants to be ) 19 months now and her speech is coming on great.I've just finished 2 dresses for her so will put one on her tomorrow.Bitsy they were really easy-I modelled it from one DS got from a&da which is basically a t shirt top half and a gathered skirt attached and a wide band of elastic at the waist.I got 2 packs of tshirts 1/2 price last week which worked out at a£1 each,cut some off the bottom then used a long rectangle of fabric for the skirt bit and a contrasting band at the hem-already had loads of remnants so didnt need to get any more & spent a happy time mixing & matching colours & fabric (easily pleased me :rotfl:)

May do some more sewing this aft,not much housework going on as I am full of a cold and I don't feel like it
well,smells like the bnut squash is done so I'll love you and leave you and hope everyone has a good day x

Glad to hear you have your internet connection back RosyRed ...can I borrow yours cause ive lost mine. Actually ive lost the whole lot really. Remind me never to go messing in the registry again. MSE and Spotify on me phone though handy to have, is not ideal.

Guys coming to do the cavity wall insulation anytime now. Hope they speak English as it took me 2 years to understand my Stepdad who was Welsh.:D

Ooops,sorry to hear that,yes pop round anytime to use my internet-I'll have the kettle on I tried with my phone but couldn't be doing with it and gave up in the end.Hope you get the pc sorted.

Just a wee update on wife and last night's visit to consultant. She had galbladder removed 6 weeks ago and there are one or two things that were annoying/ upsetting her (as well as me Judi ). He put her mind completely at rest on all issues. Her gallbladder had been very badly inflamed and he sent away sample to be checked (which we didn't know). So the bonus news was that the histology came back all clear! :j So my wife had her best night's sleep for ages and is going to bingo tonight to celebrate! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Judi you don't need internet connection, just shout and we'll listen! :rotfl:

:rotfl: this was me with my FIL, he's from near Limerick in Ireland and I could only understand the conversation based on the replies my H gave :rotfl:

Hope that BD is shooed away soon for those affected.

Not much happening here, went for a pelvic scan as AF really bad now but nothing showing, may just have to put up with it!

Washing blowing on the line, the towels are blowing away out there and should be dry soon. Just put another load on the line and it should half dry by the time I go to work at 7 as long as these April showers stay away.

Afternoon All

Had some pretty hefty showers today, so no washing on the line.

Had Diabetic clinic this morning and she has made me make an appointment to see the doctor she is very worried about my blood pressure and my cholesterol has gone up, but the good cholesterol has gone up more than the bad, she is also worried that I keep getting a numb thigh, it feels like I have had a novacaine injection in it. Earliest appointment 15th May :eek:

Went to Wilkinsons to get some bits and bobs and they have reduced all of their seeds to half price :j So I grabbed quite a few
Seedlings are looking good so I will be able to plant them into the raised bed in a couple of weeks:D
I have some more seeds to put in over the weekend so hopefully that will save some dosh.

Afternoon everyone,

Well today has gone a lot better than yesterday - being included again at work (amazing what happens when my boss is away eh?) and even better, just had a phone call from OH, he got a letter last week from Nationwide saying he may have been mis-sold PPI, sent off the forms etc and had a letter back today saying they owe him £1,500!! Absolutely ecstatic for him and should get the money within 7 days Maybe i need him to get at Welcome Finance for me as I seem to be getting nowhere....

No kids this weekend so sorting and baking to be done, as well as a cheeky drink at the pub to celebrate tonight! You never know, the money might be here in time for me to have a nice birthday treat in a couple of weeks
