Seems like this is SAMSUNG UK number. Do they give highstreet vouchers even if I ordered from Vodafone?

should do , cant see why not
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • A bit of ding dong going on. Talked to samsung yesterday and they clearly blame Vodafone for mismanaging the stocks request.

    This is going in circles.

Delays happen, that's life.. why do you feel you need financial compensation for having to wait a few days extra? Have you had any expenses or losses due to not receiving a new phone on an estimated delivery date?

If you read Vodafones website it shows that each time a batch of handsets from Samsung is received, they ship them out. Whoever you speak to at Samsung will work on the call centre side of it and to be honest have very little information about what is actually going on other than perhaps an email or two from Head Office.

@adamc260: For me, it is disappointment, in this case why should I put effort and pre-order? Isn't it waste of my time. I could have waited 2-3 weeks and got it from a shop?

@chanz4: That guy on the call center didn't budge at all! He said go and talk to Vodafone and he gave me some reference number! Can try again one more time tomorrow.

I appreciate that it is dissapointment, but why do you need financial compensation for something being delayed. The phone had an overwhelming number of orders, humans and machines can only make so many at a time..

The effort you did to pre order was go to a website, press pre-order and job done... Also, if your pre-order is delayed then chances are people buying from a shop in 2-3 weeks will be delayed (As any phones will be allocated to pre order).

Have some patience, when it arrives you'll enjoy it all the more. Also, a lot of the devices seem to be suffering problems with the screens anyway. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a good one for having to wait :)

I pre-ordered the HTC ONE and had about 3 new handsets due to issues with poor build quality/screen issues. Sometimes being the first isn't always the best, I spent more time without the phone than I did with it.
