Seller rant

Seller listed item 99p start with BIN price, I BIN-ed and paid immediately, and he instantly messages me saying "thanks for payment, I'll post first class tomorrow"
2 days later - no item. I contact the seller, he says, "sorry, I had a job interview today and needed to practice"
I respond, "no problem, post it next week then, but why did you directly tell me you were going to post if you knew you were going to be busy?"
His reply: "cut the attitude buster, I'd rather get a job than post your worthless s*** to you. Your [sic] blocked!"

you could have avoided sarcasm and said something nice like 'no problem, and BTW good luck, hope the interview went well'The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
always wondered - what does [sic] mean?
cannot remember seeing it in my youth... ever0 -
It doesnt have a direct definition (as far as I know), but what it actually means is "The original quote has a spelling mistake and I've copied and pasted, so the mistake is the original authors and not my own", or words to that effect anyway!0

But what has the job interview to do with the buyer- I actually think the seller was rude here expecting the buyer to care why spurious reason he had for not posting when he said he did.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Spoken in context, meaning that any mistakes were by the original author, and not by the person quoting.0

Thanks for backup. All I'm going to say here is that "FAST & FREE" is meaningless, but we all knew that already.0
